Fantastic lakefront home on Lake Michigan with direct access, to a very private beach. It is a beachcombers dream. Each summer evening the sun sets directly in front of you. This location offers you the seclusion of being in the woods and the lake as your view. Our home offers easy access to swimming, kayaking, hiking, boating, waterskiing. Shopping and sightseeing to popular attractions like Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Island and beyond, are all well worth the trip. The Upper pennisula is a popular area to visit, starting with your trip over the Mackinaw Bridge.Traverse City is approximately 2 hours Southwest by car. Traverse City airport allows for more choices of airlines and flights. Pellston airport is the most convenient airport allowing for 30 minute travel to the house. Come enjoy the beauty and serenity that our home has to offer.

Absolutely Amazing!
The view of this home is absolutely stunning and the deck is huge! There are views from all over the house and the pictures on the website really don't do it justice.
We are people who have very high expectations and they were all exceeded!
Another amazement - we felt like we were on a deserted island - there was no one around, no hustle or crowds - just the relaxing vacation we needed. We biked (the number of great biking spots are too many to count with amazing views all over), kayaked the bay (3 provided in our house), walked the beach and just chilled on our private beach all week. We were so sad to go but will definitely be renting again!

Stairway to the beach was dilapidated and unsafe.
The sand beach was covered with large rocks.
The spiral staircase to the second floor was loose and jittery.
The second story windows and and doorway screens fit inadequately and allowed bugs in at night.
The second bathroom had a broken toilet seat and unfinished floor.
The kitchen pots and pans were dirty and worn out.
The was food left in the refrigerator and pantry.
The spice rack contained expired spices in greasy containers.
It is also customary for all opened food to be removed as part of the thorough cleaning that is done between renters. It appears this was overlooked for your visit and has been addressed with the cleaning staff.
Obviously, we cannot control the weather, the level of the lake and many other factors that effect the amount of rocks at any given time. Our family has visited this house every summer for 18 years and the amount of beach/rocks varies each year. There were a lot of rocks this past year and was reflected in reviews for other properties in this area as well.
