All the amenities you would expect in a luxury condo...WiFi, unlimited long distance calling in U.S. & Canada, fully equipped kitchen with granite counters and Bosch appliances. Flat screen TVs in living room and both bedrooms. Fantastic floor plan allowing for ultimate in privacy (the bedrooms plus bathrooms are on either side of the living area). For your convenience, we keep sugar, tea, spices, beach chairs, boogy boards, beach towels, and paper towels stocked, so you feel at home the second you walk in the door!

Hi Maui Travelers,

my name is Silke, and I am from Munich, Germany. I relocated to Silicon Valley in 1998 and am a sales professional at a Fortune 500 company. I visit Maui once a year and have a property manager in Maui who provides stellar service to my guests.

Why The Owner chose Kaanapali

When I first came to West Maui in 1994, I made an immediate decision to retire here at some point. We bought our condo in 2009 in hopes of this being our way to make this dream come true one distant day in the future. Until then, we hope you enjoy our place as much as we do!

our 2-week vacation at Honua Kai was nothing short of perfect! The resort, the setting and of course tha unit itself. The condo was comfortable, luxurious, tranquil and just ideal for the perfect vacation. Thanks to Silke for offering such an amazing environment in which to unwind and enjoy one of the best spots on earth.

Owner's Response: One of the best things about renting my condo to guests is that I make new friends from all over the world that way! It is nice to stay in touch and welcome many guests back a year or so later.

This rental property was PERFECT! The location was ideal as it was close to major attractions and the best restaurants! My new husband and I had front row seats to a rainbow EVERY DAY from the balcony. The property was clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. Honua Kai is steps away from what we felt was the most beautiful beach in the area and trust me we looked around!! We haven't stopped talking about how amazing the condo was and are already planning a second trip with family! This property is ideal for honeymooners, adventure seekers and people of all ages! LOVED IT!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Honua Kai Resort is the best place for a family vacation. The unit that we stayed was spacious, clean and beautiful. Renting the unit through VRBO.com was a lot cheaper than going through Expedia, Costco, etc... Since this is a privately owned unit, you don't have to pay the $25/person per day. This fee basically covers your towel privileges when you to to the pool or the beach. Howeve, if you lose your towel, a $25 will be charged to your room. We brought down our own towels provided by the units and when we used up all clean towels, we did the laundry. The property manager was great and very helpful. I highly recommend renting though VRBO.
