Loved it!

My wife and I visited this house at the end of September for a long weekend. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Even on a rainy day the view from the front porch of the house was amazing. The house is very clean and has all of the comforts of home if not a little more. The boat is a great plus and an excellent way to spend the day. There is a lot to do in the surrounding area. On one of our days we took a short trip and visited a few local wineries, and then returned to the house and enjoyed our wine on the swing on the front porch. We loved this trip and are already making plans to return in the Spring/Summer of 2010.

This house was exactly as described. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The owner was extremely helpful. He was there to meet us and go through the house and explain A/C, TV, etc., and took us to the pontoon boat to explain how to run it and use the fish finder. I would recommend this property to anyone that enjoys the mountains and the water. Very scenic drives no matter which way you go. Boone, Blowing Rock and Bristol are nice day trips. If you enjoy motorcycling the "Striped Snake" is very close but you will have to ride your bike instead of trailering because the driveway is very steep at the bottom and I don't believe you could get a trailer into the driveway.
Beautiful home - excellent value because the pontoon boat is included. Lake is awesome and very few other boats. We will be back !

We loved our vacation to Watauga Lake. Quite, relaxing and just what we were looking for. The lake was beautiful, clean and clear water. We used the pontoon every day and went swimming. The sunrise over the mountains where just awsome. I can't say enough about the beautiful home with everything you could ever ask for! We love to stay at different area's of the US for our vacations. We will make sure we return to this little piece of heaven again! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home. You could not have built a more beautiful home which had all we needed plus more!

We had a great time at the lake cabin!! Everything you could possibly need was available at your fingertips. The pontoon boat was definately a big bonus! On one of our trips to the lake, we even got to see a black bear!! That was the highlight of the trip for my wife. The house is great!! We recommend it highly to anyone who wants to visit the great outdoors (except for the week we want to come back)
