Best Place to Stay at the Crescent
We just returned from our stay at The Crescent, and it was one of our the best vacations, we have absolutely nothing negative to say about the condo or Siesta Key.
The Crescent looked exactly as it does in the photos. The property was very clean and well-maintained. Everything was fantastic, even the late afternoon showers didn't interfere with any beach time or any plans. After walking the entire beach from Point of Rocks all the way to Siesta Key Village, we felt Crescent Beach was by far the nicest...it wasn't nearly as crowded as the public beach and the beach chairs and lounges were a bonus! The water is very warm, without waves, and the sand stays cool all day. My boys are 15 and 12 and had a great time, but this also would have been a great place to bring our boys when they were younger.
The property manager, Ron, was available for any questions. The unit we chose was on the street side and we would choose this again for the atmosphere of the local noises, (including music from the tiki bar across the street), the noise is calming not loud and overpowering. We sat on the beach all day, so the change in scenery at night was perfect. We would recommend The Crescent to anyone looking for a great place to stay with the convenience of a restaurant and small convenience stores right across the street.
We would recommend Captain Curt's right across the street from The Crescent for snacks or a full dinner. Other favorites were the Old Salty Dog and the Lobster Pot as well as Sub-Zero Ice-Cream in Siesta Key Village. There is a 7-11 a block away for coffee or the morning papers.
Can't wait to go back!
