We had a siblings (5 boys, 2 girls) & our mom reunion here. 3 of the siblings flew in from other states for the weekend. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time together & the beautiful property. I would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a very relaxing time, beautiful scenery, great shopping, a little gambling @ Treasure Island in nearby Red Wing. The property was very clean, well stocked, comfortable. We enjoyed watching a couple of the movies provided as well. A good time was had by all. Thanks Chuck!

We group of 6 women spent two nights at the cottage and enjoyed this interesting, historic area. The weather was fantastic for early November (70 degrees) so we got to enjoy some late fall weather by shopping in Red Wing, hiking in the state park just a mile down the road and sitting on the deck late into the evening. The cottage had most things we needed but for some paper products- kleenex and paper towels. We arrived later in the evening and had some difficulty finding the place as there are no street lights in Old Frontenac and no lights around the cottage identifying it as the right place. The three bedrooms were well equipped with warm, comfortable bedding. The twin beds in one of the upstairs bedroom were old and creaky and could use an update. We would recommend the place for families of no more than 6, friends looking for a get away and groups like ours.

We stayed at the cottage for a local Dirty Girl 5K run. The only thing that disappointed us was that the washer/dryer were out of order. This was one of the main reasons for going with a rental not a hotel.

Great little cottage in beautiful historic Frontenac. Perfect for kids & adults alike. Very cozy! Owners responsive & welcoming.

This cottage was a great selection for a recent girl's weekend. The cottage is clean and well decorated and had everything we needed for the weekend. There were 7 ladies and a baby and we had plenty of room for everyone. The cottage is definitely homey and beautiful. With the state park right next door and the river only a couple blocks away, the location is beautiful. Chuck is very easy to work with and very accomodating. I definitely recommend this property for a group of adults or a family vacation!

A group of 5 high school girlfriends used this property for our annual Girls Getaway. We found the home to be well stocked and comfortable. Owners were responsive and easy to work with. Good dining in Red Wing and fun little shops in both Red Wing and Lake City kept us busy.

We enjoyed a family weekend at the cottage with our college and high school age children. The home is clean and well furnished - very up to date and attractive. The owner was helpful with any questions we had. The setting is unique and peaceful - like a step back in time. We enjoyed hiking in the State Park.

My family and I stayed at this home while attending a wedding in Red Wing. It was a nice 10 min drive to Red Wing we were able to not only save for the cost of multiple hotel rooms with a larger family. It was a nice home away from home feel.

Very clean, comfortable and renters were very easy to work with. Would stay at this home again!
