Our goal in visiting Puerto Morelos was to get our PADI open water scuba certification. Brett over at Dive In Puerto Morelos took great care of us. Using this airy and beautifully appointed condo as our home base was wonderful! We were able to walk wherever we needed to go: restaurants, the market, the dive shop, the beach, the pier, just strolling around the town. Everyone we met in town was very kind...clearly used to tourists and very hospitable, many happy to practice their English and willing to help me with my Spanish.
The condo was a wonderful place to relax. I haven't slept so well in ages. My college kids (just home from difficult semesters) were happy to be there...and trot over to the beach for R&R. My teenage son, an aspiring chef, loved talking to the cooks in town...he is now email or facebook friends will them all. He will be blogging about his new recipes and all the fruits he sampled.
The coral reef was beautiful. My husband, the one who doesn't like cold water and wanted us to do our check out dives in warm water, was NOT disappointed. We spent our last day in Puerto Morelos snorkeling--parrot fish, barracuda, squid, so much more...even spotted a lion fish...
I would definitely visit again AND stay at this location.

My family and I have stayed here on numerous occasions. It's a beautiful condo with all the ammenities. The condo complex is small so it's never too crowded or noisy. The pool area is very well kept. The condo is clean and well maintained. The patio area can be locked so children are safely away from the pool, if needed. My children loved going in the sea kayaks out to the reef. The town of Puerto Morelos is small, relaxed and easy going. The beaches are calm- great for children. Or you can head up the road to the beaches with waves. The snorkeling never disappoints. There are also great afternoon or day trips to Mayan ruins, cenotes, Playa del Carmen, Crococoon Zoo. We can't wait to get back to the beach and we'd stay in this condo again.

excellent place....perfect for our family!

This place was our home for 7 weeks and it was exactly what we needed. We have 3 children, so there was 5 of us and this place offered us plenty of room. It exceeded our expectations!
The pool is a very nice size as well. There are books to read, games to play and American cable so we could watch T.V in English.
The kitchen offered pots, pans, baking sheets, etc....everything we needed for cooking & baking!
The location was great, on a nice quiet street just a block from the beach.
We enjoyed using the beach chairs to relax & read on the beach & the bicycles to go for many bike rides together! The kayaks were also a nice surprise and enjoyed as well!
Like I said...it was just what we needed and suited our family very well!
