Riverfront Property with a Great View!

We enjoyed two nights during the winter. It was cozy and warm with the wood stove and Toyo stove. Our rooms had nice covers with an extra blanket and the attention to details like chilled glasses in the freezer and ice ready for blending a fruit drink. It was perfect get away place. We walked on the river ice and could hear the sounds of water flowing underneath as the big bright moon illuminated the white landscape. I would recommend this experience for those who enjoy getting away and having peace and quiet. I was lucky to find the Santa Crafts show at the Community Center with lots of wood working, knitting and great Christmas gifts. Even the local Art Gallery was showing many artists from the area. Willow is a wonderful place filled with lots of friendly people. Come and visit their quiet neck of the woods.

THE highlight of our Alaska trip.

We stayed here after a week cruise and next time we will just skip the cruise and hopefully spend more time here. We only had three nights to stay here, but it will long be remembered as the best three nights of our lives. Paul and Ginny were the perfect hosts. The cabin is well stocked, the beds are wonderful and the setting is so tranquil we didn't want to leave. Sleeping with the windows open to hear the gentle flow of the river is an experience in itself.
The cabin is so secluded you think that the rest of the world is a million miles away, but if you need anything, a convience store is just down the road and Wal-Mart is a short drive away.
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay here and the use of your gold pans. Although microscopic, I actually found a few "nuggets"!!

back in Alaska one day.

Ginny and Paul were great hosts. The home was a great place to relax. It was clean and well supplied. Many hours were spent on the porch just watching the river flow by. Can't wait to get back.

Fantastic property!

My fishing buddy and I stayed here for six days in September and all I can say is what a great place this is! The website pictures do not do this place justice. It is centrally located to many great streams (Willow Creek, Montana Creek, Goose Creek, etc) as well as sightseeing and wildlife viewing. It is very well equipped and the setting on Willow creek with 27 acres makes it a great place to get away from the crowds.

We inquired about a local guide and were referred to George Ortman (www.adventureguiding.com). We booked him for two days, had such a great time and caught so many fish that we booked him for third day. He comes highly recommended.

I will have to say this is the nicest place I have ever stayed and look forward to returning to Willow Creek Inn.

This cabin is beautiful and the setting is perfect. We loved the sound of the rushing water, the fishing experience, and the location. It was quiet, wonderfully stocked, and very clean. The owner's are great and gave us information for activities and a great reference for a local fishing guide. Don't miss the drive over Hatcher Pass. We would highly recommend this property and will return again. Our 25th anniversary couldn't have been spent in a better place.

There were six of us and the Willow Creek Inn was perfect for us. Paul was the perfect host.He made sure we had everything we needed and was a wealth of information! The cabin was spacious and clean and very comfortable. It was relaxing to hear the stream rushing by and to walk alongside it in the woods.
We really enjoyed it there and hope one day to return!

We have stayed at both cabins provided by the above renters and have enjoyed each stay. We have tried to book other times as well, but the cabins are always full. That tells you something. They have always been clean, a good location for us, and flexible.
We will be staying at this Willow property again, with no doubt. The owners are responsible and caring and want to ensure that their guests have a hassle free stay. The scenery is beautiful and it is a very relaxing, and calming place.

A Great Place To Stay

We stayed at this 2 bedroom rental long term during the winter of 2008 and loved it. We were building our own home and needed a place to rent until its completion. The property location is very beautiful and peaceful and the house is furnished very nicely and stocked very well with linens and everthing for the kitchen. The owners were really nice. They always kept the driveway plowed and if there was anything we needed we always felt comfortable calling them. We would love to come back during the summer months just to experience summer at this rental. The river is right out front of the house and it must be really nice in the summer. We would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to vacation in Alaska or as a long-term rental during the off season.

This was a great place to stay and the house had everything we needed. Our kids really enjoyed picking the wild berries around the cabin and making syrup with them for french toast. We left wishing we had more time to stay and enjoy Alaska. We would definitely recommend staying here during a visit to Alaska.
Owner's Response: Thanks Brian & Jeanette,
Hopefully you'll be able to come back someday! Glad you enjoyed our place.
