Little Piece of Paradise!
First of all Nancy, Mahalo for sharing your wonderful little piece of paradise with us! This property was exactly as promised! We were a little hesitant at first since this was our first experience with vrbo.com. and our first stay on Maui. Once we arrived all our concerns were put to rest.
The condo was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed or wanted. The view from the loft and kitchen/livingroom on the main floor was awesome! It was so relaxing to watch the boats come in and out of the harbor. The sunrise over Haleakala was breathtaking from the lanai with morning coffee.
We particularly enjoyed the tropical breeze in this area which made it comfortable compared to other locations on the island. The ceiling fans kept the condo quite nice without really needing the air conditioning. The location was perfect for us. Quiet central location to be able to relax without the "resort" feeling, yet close enough to drive to them when you wanted. We would recommend the Pacific Whale Foundation day trips, as well as Beach Bums, both are within walking distance from the condo.
This was one of the most relaxing vacations we've taken. I would certainly recommend this location. I hope to return again sometime.

First timers visiting Maui! Thank you so much Nancy for the wonderful accomadations. The condo looked just like pictures and we were not disappointed. We loved the central location for all our excursions and the local store down the street was my favorite place for coffee. Beach Bums next door was also a frequent dinner spot for us after a day of snorkeling and swimming.

I would defiinately recommend this condo for travelers, you won't be disappointed. We hope to visit again!

Beautiful, relaxing, convenient in all directions
Another fabulous vacation in Maui. Thank you to Nancy for her help from start to finish. Always with an answer, always quick to respond, we appreciated that greatly. We had 6 people with us - my husband and I, my mother in law who is 85, my two daughters and my son, all 20 and over. We had two people in the back room, one on the blowup bed, and one in the sofa bed, and we were upstairs. It was perfect.
The condo is very well taken care of, the grounds are meticulous, and there was great attention to cleanliness on the property. We didn't go in the pool but many other people were enjoying it every day. Beautiful home away from home!
The condo is definitely recommended, being so convenient to the Pacific Whale Foundation (our second home away from home.) We were able to walk for the cruises, and Porto the restaurant owned by PWF is so yummy. Pizza is definitely their specialty. Become members of PWF, you won't regret it, they treat us well, plus you get to help with their eco tourism/research as well.
Do the sunrise at Haleakala. It's a good drive - we left at 330 am and got there about 530, and there were still cars ahead of us! Bring some warm clothes, it's windy up there. I am thinking when we go back, we'll take some of those thin camping blankets - we saw people wrapped up in them, and they seemed cozy. Don't buy the coffee on the way up, it's $4 a cup, $4 for a small hot chocolate and $4 for a donut.

A gem on Ma'alaea Bay
We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Maui, and Nancy's condo had a lot to do with that. Her well appointed kitchen had every implement we needed - even a citrus reamer! The layout of the condo was very nice - the high ceilings and huge windows made everything bright, airy and very cheerful. Not all condos in the complex have this architecture, we were fortunate to have chosen well. The view across the bay is delightful and the grounds were meticulously maintained. My teenage boys had lots of room to play Frisbee on the lawn beside the pool. When we ventured off the grounds, Nancy had everything we needed - beach chairs, towels, cooler, and some quality boogie boards.
After our time in Maui, we went to the Big Island for a few days. The condo we rented there was beautifully renovated, but the kitchen was outfitted with items of a lower quality than we had in Maui, the boogie boards they claimed to have were broken (and toys, really). Also, the condo owner was irksomely intrusive. Going somewhere else made us realize what a gem we had found in Maui!

7 adults in June 2012
We came to Maui with 7 of our family and friends for our daughter's wedding. Our stay at Maalaea Bay was so relaxing. It was windy but we actually were facinated with the wind, the ocean....the whole view from our condo on 4th floor. It was BEAUTIFUL !
The condo was up to date and had everything we needed to cook our meals and sleep all seven of us comfortably. We wouldn't have a problem renting this condo again. The location was perfect for us as it was centrally located for all of our activities during the week.

Great view
The view of this condo can't be beat! We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It's not by many of the tourist attractions but that didn't bother us. It was close enough to drive everywhere and we enjoyed the quiet location. The condo could use some updating but that is easily overlooked by the wonderful ocean view. You can't beat looking out the wall of windows to see the sun come up each morning over the ocean. The condo also has all the extras needed to go out each day - beach towels, chairs, cooler,etc. this was very handy. We enjoyed our stay.

Really, really, really nice!
Just returned from a 9-day mini family reunion on Maui. Six of us stayed at this condo and it was wonderful! We stocked up at Costco and did breakfast and lunch at the condo everyday with dinner out. (Highly recommend Kimo's & Cheeseburger in Paradise in Lahaina; Leilani's on the Beach in Ka'anapali; Buzz's Wharf just a short walk from the condo.)
Location is perfect--lanai faced the bay where we saw the sunrise every morning and moonrise every night and sea turtles swimming just about every day--short drive times to Lahaina, Ka'anapali and Kihei. With the trade winds blowing, we slept with the windows and doorwall wide open every night which was very pleasant to those on the sleeper sofa and in the loft. The only downside was the back bedroom remained warm even using the box fan. Owner was helpful from day one when I was researching condos to rent; we had some minor problems while there (toilet leak, router went out), but someone from the rental company was out within an hour of my calls to make repairs.
We made all our excursion reservations through Boss Frog's in Lahaina--the staff was outstanding! Since we weren't bringing any kids on our vacation, we chose Feast at Lele for our luau experience and it lived up to its hype of most romantic luau.
I would stay here again without hesitation and would highly recommend this condo to a friend!

Wake up to Paradise!
My friends and I shared this condo for 8 nights and it was perfectly what we were looking for. The location was perfect for those who are renting a car and, you will if you're in Maui! The condo was well kept and Nancy supplied us with beach towels, boogie board, bags, ice boxes, and so much more. It was such a pleasure to wake up every morning to such an awesome view!! We miss it so much. Looking forward to another trip soon!

Fabulous Condo!
Mahalo Nancy for your friendly hospitality and for letting us rent your condo
during our 2 week stay in Maui in March. It was perfect, so well kept,
beautifully designed, modern appliances, comfy beds, amazingly quiet air
conditioning, lots of towels, dishes/pots/pans, all the beach items we needed.
The special carts at the elevator to bring our luggage/groceries up to
the suite, really handy! The wi-fi was great to have. The computer too so we
could look at the photos on our camera and email our friends that we don't want
to come home :)
Like one of the other reviews, we had to take our sandals off and
walk on the incredible grass, the grounds are so well kept and nice to sit
out there enjoying the sun, ocean and breeze, very peaceful.
The view is fabulous and an excellent central area to stay as it's close to
Kihei, Lahaina, Kahului etc. It was wonderful to wake up to the site and sounds of
the ocean.

Great Place (Stay Here)
My Fiancee and I were here last March from Seattle for a quick vacation and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. We spent two nights her and two nights at the Wailea Marriott and though the Marriott was nice, the condo was even nicer and much more affordable. The views are unparalleled and the location is unbeatable. Everything is within a 5 or 10 minute drive, this condo is right off of the main road and in the center of it all. Nancy the owner was great and made the process so simple. I recommend to everyone that they stay here, as you will be hard-pressed to find a better view coupled with a more convenient location with all of the luxuries of home.
