Wonderful Long Weekend Trip

Review Submitted: October 13, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
Our group of 8 stayed for 3 nights in this wonderful vacation home and absolutely loved it! It had plenty of room to spread out and the beds were very comfy. The home was well stocked with everything we needed and the setting back in the cove was awesome. We just wish the weather would have cooperated a bit better so we could have enjoyed the screened porch upstairs and spacious deck downstairs.

One thing that we would suggest is perhaps the addition of a big kitchen table with chairs to sit at for meals or to play cards as a big group, but the downstairs couches & coffee table did work fine for that.

Cindy was great to work with and we would recommend this vacation home to anyone. Thanks for helping us have a great time!

Great Vacation Home

Review Submitted: September 10, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We had a great stay at this vacation home. The house is conveniently located to local attractions if this is your interest and is secluded, relaxing and comfortable if this is what you are wanting. It was nice to have a screened in porch and we particularly enjoyed the dock area. We definitely want to plan another stay.

Fantastic Weekend Geteway

Review Submitted: September 8, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
Cindy was such a pleasant person to work with. The house was great. There was more than enough room for everybody. The kids especially enjoyed swimming off the dock, and we even caught a couple catfish down there. The location was quiet but close enough to Route 54 so we were able to still do all the things we wanted. We will definately be back!!!!

Relaxing Vacation

Aunt Nina Alma, Missouri
Review Submitted: August 31, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
My family enjoyed our vacation at this lakeside home. The location was very private and peaceful. I noticed right away how clean it was. Our favorite place was the screened-in porch where we ate most of our meals. My 2 yr old nephew and I made several trips down to the dock to feed bread crumbs to the fish. We have many good memories of the time we spent here.

This house was perfect for our vacation. We had 8 adults and 2 kids. We enjoyed the dock to relax in the sun and everyone enjoyed being able to swim right off the dock. The house had every amenity that we needed. We enjoyed being able to cook out on the lower deck and loved having our meals on the screened in deck. Cindy was great to work with and answered all our questions. Thanks for the tip on where to rent the boat, it worked out perfect and was a great price! Our famiy enjoyed every minute of our vacation.

We had 6 adults and 5 kids, and there was something for everyone. It was nice to have the private cove so you didn't have to worry about the kids being in people's way. The rooms were nice and clean. It was an easy place to be. We will be back soon.

Great vacation home!

Review Submitted: August 1, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We have been coming to the lake for over 10 years, always staying in a condo. This is the first time staying in a house. Never a condo again! This is a great location. The home is perfect in many ways. It is clean, modern, has everything necessary, and is very comfortable. Screened in porch to eat meals and play cards was a great plus. The beds are all king size and comfortable. There is a nice swim platform with a table, umbrella, and chairs, and a diving board. The home is very comfortable. It is a great location, by land and water. We had a great time and already booked for next year. Thank you for sharing with us.

Great Vacation Home

Tanglefoot & DL Illinois
Review Submitted: June 30, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We just spent the last week of June at this home and found it to be a fun vacation home. All the beds were of very good quality. Bedrooms and bathrooms were quite nice. The home is bright with several sunlights. Upper level screened in porch was great for breakfast and late evening cards. Home is shaded in the morning and evening. The boat dock is an easy walk down two flights of stairs and has ample room for swimming and hanging out. The location near the end of this bay is very nice. A quiet spot within a short distance of the main lake.
The only thing anyone should be aware of is parking your boat trailer is a challenge.
We highly recommend this rental home.
