Walk, skate, bike ride to Venice Beach and Main Street Santa Monica, with shopping, outdoor cafes and surf shops, rent a surf board and take some lessons!.Tennis courts and playgrounds for the kids in two parks close by. Local fishing and boat rides in the Marina.
The house is in impeccable condition, hardwood floors, 50's style kitchen with breakfast bar and vintage stove, a large full bath with a separate shower stall. Master bedroom opens to landscaped lush back yard and dining patio with outdoor seating and BBQ. Wonderful Bungalow Venice/Santa Monica

Wonderful place to work and play in the LA area. There was space for four adults to have private space as well as in and outside space for group activitiies. Booking was easy and hosts were accomodating. We plan to stay there again when possible.

We stayed at this house for the first week in February! It was great.
There were four adults and it suited us comfortably!
Great location - close to beach - close to interstates!
Quiet street - parking in driveway.
We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely house in a great area

The house was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. It was also very well equipped with a full array of kitchen utensils, dishes, extra linens and towels. The location was great - a nice walk to the beach (15-20 min), and very short walk to groceries and several restaurants, yet the house itself is on a quiet, residential street. Good access to tourist sites and many more restaurants if you have a car, as it has good highway access too. Highly recommended property and location.

really lovely home from home!

My husband and I rented this place for the second part of our honeymoon and really found it to be a great place to stay, the owner was very helpful and on hand if you need her.
Clean, comfortable and quiet, in a pretty and safe residential cul-de-sac and with a few shops within 5 mins walk (wholefoods, budget supermarket, chemist) which were very convinient (and my hubby spotted Sarah Michelle Gellar there, lol!)
The bikes were really useful (although could do with a service!) and the beach and main shops are within easy cycle distance.
We would definitely stay here again.

La maison est grande, bien décorée et bien située. Le jardin est agréable. Des vélos sont à disposition pour aller à la plage. Bref, un séjour de rêve....

Nice house, great renovated and free wifi. Own entrance, bicycles, shops nearby and the beach on bike distance. Lovely garden and a cat who is checking you out. We liked it here very much.

My husband, daughter, and I recently spent a week in this lovely house, and would absolutely stay here again during a future LA visit. The owners were great to work with. The location, on a quiet street, is excellent - it's easy to get to the beach and there are restaurants and stores (Whole Foods, CVS) within walking distance. There is also a convenient bus stop for the Santa Monica 3 bus, which goes through Santa Monica to UCLA. The house is really comfortable and pleasant, and the backyard is divine!

To be honest, we were very well surprised when arriving at the house gate as the house is located in a very peacefull area with very nice neighbours. If we had to come back to L.A., we would rent this house for sure !
Besides, owners are really friendly and helpfull !

Great Location, Awesome House, Perfect Owners

This house is nestled on a quaint residential side street just off the PCH/Lincoln Blvd. It is exactly as described in the pictures/description. The owners are very friendly and easy to work with. The house is decorated in IKEA and has a really cool stove/oven from the 40's??? Kitchen has every tool you could want and a little counter for morning toast. The back yard is fairly large and has a grill as well as outdoor fireplace. Our Golden Retreiver loved the grass and the nearby park. The beds were soft and their was plenty of closet space. Although there was only one bathroom, the shower more then made up for it! The garage in the back had a futon and some chairs making a perfect club house for the kids. Also there were bicycles you could use to ride the board walk on the beach. Let's see..Whole Foods and CVS across the street, great shops and resturants less than a mile away and easy access to Venice/Santa Monica Beach. Good things to know:
1. Beach parking is spendy from $5-$15 with no in and out
2. No dogs on beach and very restrictive laws for leash and cleanup. (be sure to carry a visible pickup bag!)
3. Really close to the I-10 freeway and easy acess to the 405 from Marina expressway
4. Very relaxing yard after long day at the beach
We can't wait to go back!!!!!
