We loved every minute of our stay at the Hupi Retreat this past August. The house is really top-notch: spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and outdoor grill. There is beautiful art everywhere, and it was well-maintained and very clean. Our children had plenty of great toys to occupy their time. We enjoyed being outdoors on the deck and had easy access to a nearby lake and tennis court. The owner was available to answer questions and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. We loved that we only had to bring some clothes to wear and some food...everything else was taken care of. The Hupi Retreat is a treasure and we would recommend highly it to anybody who wants to explore the Berkshires.

The accommodations were wonderful and actually slept more than 6 as advertised. The pictures on the website did not do the home justice....it was stunning, immaculate, comfortable and very spacious. The furnishings and decor were designer quality. The owner was so accommodating and gracious, she even went out of her way to print out age appropriate activities for us and our 4 children. She treated us as if we were guests in her very own home and we've been friends for years. Use of the telephone, computer and printer was a real plus.

We absolutely LOVED the house, and have stayed in the Berkshires many times before. I went with my twin girls, who were three at the time, and they shared a downstairs children's bedroom. My husband and I slept in the room next door, and there was a playroom attaching the two bedrooms. There was also another bedroom/bath area in the upstairs loft so my babysitter could join us for a few days. The house in clean, bright, in excellent shape, and nicely decorated. There is a play area outside with swings, etc. plus a beautiful deck for barbecuing. And the house is right near a beautiful lake.
Dorene was a pleasure to deal with--she was available for immediate assistance if we had any questions. The house was fully stocked with towels, linens, etc. so we didn't need to bring anything. A fantastic experience!
