Our best vacation ever

Reene Orem, Utah
Review Submitted: August 26, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We LOVED staying at this rental home. The house is beautifully set up with everything you might need. The bedrooms were huge...the living area is open concept...and the yard is amazing! I loved listening to the fountain lull me to sleep every night.

The walk to the beach takes 2 minutes at most....so easy and fast! You do have to walk down some stairs to get to the water, but that was included in the description, so we were prepared. We have little children, so we pushed them in umbrella strollers to the stairs, and then carried the strollers down with us. It was easier than we thought...and we visited the beach at least twice daily.

We would reccomend this to anyone who wants to stay close to the beach and still enjoy the comforts of home (for me that was a washer and dryer). They even have an outside shower for washing off the sand (so smart!!)

Another thing we discovered while we were there was the close proximity to Legoland. We had planned on going there anyway, but it only took us 10 minutes (max) to get to the park from the rental home. It was so convenient, we even left during the day to give our little ones a nap, and then went back!!

This home was the perfect arrangement for us and our children. We enjoyed every moment!

Wonderful Vacation Rental

J, H, D, S, & C! Stevenson Ranch, CA
Review Submitted: August 6, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We had a lovely stay here! Everything was as described and met or exceeded our expectations. The walk to Moonlight Beach each day was enjoyable and easy for all - even my 4-year-old niece. The kids had a ball! The property is very clean, well-maintained and stocked. The neighborhood is quiet and each of the adults in our party enjoyed various times of sitting out on the front patio with a good book or cup of coffee and listening to the relaxing sounds of the fountain. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. I can't think of a single thing I'd change or was unhappy with. Truly a delighful vacation. We hope to be back!

Great, cozy So Cal beach spot

The pictures and descriptions of this rental are excellent, and don't even do it justice. All the rooms are very spacious and comfortable.
The property is extemely clean and well-maintained, so you will feed very at-home here. The owner was extremely easy to work with and everything was smooth. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a quiet beach getaway. Lovely spots outside to dine, read or relax. The fire pit in the back was a fun spot to hang out in the evenings and talk. The Wi Fi works flawlessly and is really handy if someone on your trip needs to a little work. There are 2 beaches nearby - Stone Steps and Moonlight. Both are within easy walking distance, depending on how far you want to go. The little quaint town of Encinitas is a long walk or short car ride away. Lots of cute restaurants and shops. Great little vacation for us!

This was a great place to stay. Very roomy for 7. It was clean, had a great kitchen, and a laundry room.
About a block and a half walk to the beach! 25 min. drive to many local attractions--lego land, sea world, the harbor, downtown SanDiego, the airport, and Padre's stadium, etc.
There was a local grocery store as well as many restaurants in the area as well!
Good Customer Service.
YES!! We reccomend this property!

What a superb holiday home. We didn't just feel welcomed, we felt we belonged! The walks to the beach and the bike rides and the easy shopping options all worked together to create the perfect holiday ambience. Everything in this home worked and the accessories were indulgent - Fireplaces and TV's everywhere, cozy settings indoors and outdoors and comfortable beds and pillows. Yes!

Nice place to stay!

This place was great. Well equipped, clean and comfortable and walking distance to shops and the beach. Close to everything in the San Diego area and yet still close enough to make a day trip up to LA. The parking on the quiet street was relatively full but the house has an attached garage that you enter from the back alley which worked perfectly. The entire yard is fenced so you'd be easily able to keep younger kids in. The towels and linens were top notch as were all of the appliances. It was very clean and well maintained. This place is a little bite of luxury in a comfortably casual environment.
