Wonderful Home!

Just returned from a great family vacation in this fantastic home! My sister and her husband own a place on James Island so the family decided on this location for a beach trip. The house has a perfect spot close to the beach. There are beautiful decks, an enormous porch and lovely landscaping at every corner. The photos do not do the home justice. The home is beautiful, bright, sunny, with tall ceilings and detailed architecture. Porches are everywhere. The home is also dog friendly but (fyi) dogs are not allowed on the beach from 1000 to 6pm daily. The property owners were attentive and made the check in and out very simple. The home was immaculate upon arrival. Shops and restaurants are close- by. We had several fun dinners at Rita’s and in Charleston, also went on the recommended Gaullah Tour. The men went fishing and the ladies shopped at Folly and Charleston. We also squeezed in time for para sailing. The home fit my two sons, daughter in law and baby perfectly, with gathering place for dinners with the rest of the family on the huge porch. Will be back soon!!

Perfect Fit

We could not have picked a better home to meet our needs. We were able to entertain several family members easily. We loved the proximity to the beach so that we could take our daily walks up and down the seashore. Folly Beach restaurants provided several of our lunches and dinners. The information you and Misti provided us with was very helpful in our decision making. Mondo's was a perfect fit for us and one of the highlights of our visit was going to see "The Angel Tree." You did an amazing job handling the behind-the-scenes set-up and we appreciate your efforts. We are already planning on a return visit next spring. Thanks again.

My family enjoyed your home. It was perfect for what we needed and wanted. I don't know of anything that you could do to have made our stay better. I loved the house so much, I would love to have it moved and put on my farm. It is a home that is so welcoming from the time you walk in the front door. If we make another trip to Charleston, I am sure your home will be where we would want to stay. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.

Fabulous Folly Christmas

Our family was absolutely thrilled with this home! The photographs definitely did not do it justice. We enjoyed everything about it: the screened in porch, open living/kitchen area, the comforable beds and couches, beautifully manicured yard, heated master bath floor, dual shower heads, fenced yard for the dogs, well stocked kitchen, lookout, and cleanliness. We had room to spread out and read, watch tv, or play games.
This was our first trip to Folly and everyone (ages 21-74) enjoyed it so much and plan to come back next year. We just hated to leave!

Great house very close to the beach!

We had a wonderful time spending the week at this beach house. It was very spacious with plenty of room for entertaining. We had mixed families in for a wedding and we all had plenty of room to sleep and enjoyed different aspects of the house. The house is gorgeous, very welcoming, with a lot of amenities provided. We loved the screened in porch, the huge kitchen table, the outside shower was wonderful for rinsing off the sand from the beach, and the fenced in yard was great for the couple of family dogs we were able to bring along. While the downstairs bedroom/den was a little inconvenient with no door (it did have a screen); our kids still loved the bunk beds and had a blast. Because we had a lot of people, we had to be a little patient with sharing the bathrooms (only 2 full baths), but we managed fine! I would definitely recommend staying at this house, especially for large/mulitiple families, and would love to stay here again if given the opportunity!

Incredible Beach House!

We had an incredible vacation at this house! The house is beautiful & so open and airy. The colors give it such a happy feeling. My favorite part was the screened porch. We loved having our coffee there every morning. All the rooms are good-sized, and the kitchen & bathrooms have all the modern conveniences you would expect.
Folly Beach was great too. Plenty to do in the downtown area, but close enough to Charleston to go explore there too. We loved it here so much that we hope to stay here again next year.

This is a beautiful home that was greatly enjoyed by the adults and children. Kids loved the back yard which was big enough for toddler baseball. Mom loved the wrap-around porch. Dad loved the amazing interior design and architecture; the mix of luxury and country charm is wonderful.

Absolutely perfect

We stayed here for Thanksgiving last year and it was amazing. A very short walk to the beach, the house is well equipped and lovely. The master is huge, incredible bath. Architecturally incredible. We were there in the winter so there wasn't any furniture on the porches, which would have been nice since we spent a lot of time outside. The yard it terrific, fenced and well landscaped. You feel like you are in a private home and not a rental at all. We needed to borrow platters, etc for Thanksgiving from friends, but the kitchen was gorgeous. Folly Beach was terrific in November. No one was there, we had the beach to ourselves, and the town was darling. We rented a golf cart and the toured the island which was great fun. I cannot recommend this house enough. We only used three bedroom upstairs. I could see that the bunk room off the kitchen would be somewhat inconvenient if adults were using it. All in all, a wonderful house in a fantastic spot. I would go back in a heart beat.

Loved the house and the yard and the location. Well equipped, but could use pot holders and a full length mirror. We also had to buy TP to refill while we were there, but the TP roses when we got there were super cute. Must note again that two sets of bunk beds (sleeping for 4) is in an alcove off the living room without a door. This didn't present a problem for us, but should be kept in mind. Pictures don't really show how big it is and I can't rave enough about the master bath which has a two-head shower with bench, enormous tub (my 6 year old swam in it) and hot tile floor. Porches and decks all around made for plenty of space for all of us inside and out. Terrific!

If/When you return, you will find not only pot holders, but a full length mirror and a folding wicker screen for the "bunk room." Wow. Perfect. So close to the beach. Great screened in porch and perfect fenced in back yard, even a grill! We could not have asked for more. The master suite was gorgeous - especially the very large shower and deep tub! So relaxing. Great communication with the renter. Only thing did not like was 2 sets of bunk beds right off kitchen/living area had no door to room - a little inconvienant for those trying to sleep through the early morning risers. Other then that couldn't have asked for a better vacation. -TONS of storage spaces large closets and huge walk in pantry. Was all great would do it again - Thanks!
