Great Stay!

Review Submitted: November 15, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
We had a group of six for Halloween and it was the perfect spot. Everything was smooth checking in and out and we cannot wait to visit Austin again and definitely stay at the Eastside Inn. Thanks again Kathy!

My sisters and I ventured over to Austin to celebrate the ending days of my youger sister's single life. We needed a place to accomodate more than what a hotel could fit. We luckily found Eastside Inn. It was so perfect. Great location and Kathy was so kind and accomodating. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

I was in Austin for a Medical conference and decided to fore go the usual hotel for a house. It was one of the best decisions I could of made. The place was nice, clean and close to downtown. Kathy, the owner, was a wealth of information and easy to work with. I highly recommend this location.

My husband and I were in Austin on business and stayed at this wonderful rental for 3 weeks in September. Really lovely and very convenient to the Lake~ we kayaked, ran the trail~ we’re runners and loved all the excellent food and music Austin has to offer. Kathy and George took such good care of us~ from where to shop for groceries, to good local eateries, and where the best farmers markets are. We highly recommend both the home and the owners.

I stayed in the Eastside Inn for a month and had a wonderful experience. The house is beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable and just lovely! Unlike most short term stays, the kitchen here rocks! Also, Kathy, the owner, could not be more helpful and attentive and is great local resource for all the fun that is Austin.

I stayed here for 2 nights with a party of 6, we had a great time. Its a great open layout, super clean and updated quite nicely for an older home. I would highly recommend this property There are also a few cute little shops and a hair salon right next door!

While we stayed for only a long weekend, this was one of the best rental experiences I've ever had. House is clean, spacious and well decorated (claw foot tub, hello!) and the owners make sure to have certain necessities on hand (iron, hair dryer, towels). The location is great, too, just minutes from downtown. We will definitely stay here again!

I came to Austin with 5 students for the Clinton Global Initiative University. A hotel was out of our budget and we are so grateful we found the Eastside Inn. It was cozier, more elegant, more refreshing than a hotel and far more affordable! And Kathy could not have been sweeter, true Texan hospitality. There are two beds and a futon and while we didn’t need a blow up mattress, it made the sleeping arrangements more comfortable. She brought one over the moment we asked. If you are heading to Austin, skip the hotel and stay at the Eastside Inn. Oh, and if you cook….the kitchen is dynamite. Thanks Kathy!

This place is just as fun and modern as the photos show. I was excited to find a central location that was clean, up-to-date, and welcoming. The owner was also easy to work with and very responsive! We loved walking to the Juan in Million restaurant, where it felt like real locals eat.
