The perfect place to stay in old san juan!!

The condo is very clean and has everything you should need. Helen is so sweet and came to greet us with open arms. Thanks Helen for sharing you home with my family.

I went to the LULAC convention and stayed here with some teenage girls from a High School in Plano, Texas. We enjoyed our stay very much it is a beautiful place and very convenient to shops. The condominium has everything, it was very clean and we had the best time. We wanted to stay longer but we had to come back!!!!

The condo was better than pictured with magnificent sweeping views of the bay and the cruise ships coming in and out. Perfectly appointed with all the amenities you may need. Three large decks that allowed you to sit peaceful taking in the views and enjoying the cool breezes as you sipped your cocktail. We were there with 3 generation of our family and everyone was very comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone and no lines for the bathrooms. The washer and dryer were essential with a one year old. The property itself was well maintained and very safe and Helen the owner was very kind and helpful.
The location was perfect, only a couple of minutes walk to all the bars, restaurant and shops of the old town so there was always something to do, plus with the pool a couple of steps away we were always entertained. The ferry to Bacardi is a couple of blocks so it was a quick and easy trip, even with a one year old. Also, the bus terminal is about a block away so it was easy to catch a bus to Condado or Isla Verde for some fun on the beach.
On the practical side, the grocery store was a ten minute walk and the kitchen had everything you would need to make anything from a snack to a full dinner at home if you desired. Also, there was a small pub down stairs that served excellent food and drinks if you didn’t want to trek to the old city.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and we hope to return next year with either friends or families. This place is perfect for anyone from young couples traveling together to large families.

We meticulously planned our June/July two-week vacation in PR, ending in Old San Juan, in Helen's beautiful condo for the finale--two adult couples. We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate our last few days of fun and play. The location, coupled with the amenities were far much better than any hotel. We enjoyed the gorgeous view of the cruise ships from every window, including the kitchen, the fabulous food from down below (a restaurant in the same building), the ample pool, and the proximity to the amenities of charming Old San Juan. The location was superb too--close to everything yet far enough to enjoy privacy. Helen thoughtfully equipped her condo to take care of all our needs. Helen's graciousness and attention to detail was marvelous (we communicated via email for six months prior to arriving). Her taste in decor is fabulous, too. Most of all, Helen's warm attention left us wanting to continue the relationship. We plan to see you again. Thank you Helen, from sunny California, and seasoned travelers!

Staying in Helen's apartment made for an ideal reunion of friends. All the positive comments made in the reviews about this condo are reinforced by this writer. We had the best of both worlds with a beautiful modern apartment ideally located in charming Old San Juan. If you ever wanted to explore the old city, this is the place to stay, and be prepared for warm and inviting Puero Rican's to welcome you to their historic community....I will recommend this property to my friends who have an interest in visiting Old San Juan.

My daughter, mother and myself stayed for four wonderful
days at Helen's gorgeous condominium Capitolio Plaza
situated right in front of the Caribbean Bay less than 10 minutes walk to the center of charming "Old San Juan". This luxurious piece of property exceeded all of our "EXPETATION!!!

These are only a few words to describe Helen’s property. Helen was a gracious host over-extending her welcome to her home. Her beautiful personality is reflected in the décor she chose for her property. The pictures shown in this profile underestimates the true beauty of this property! The master bedroom is fit for a King or Queen and the second bedroom is just as quaint with an adjacent bathroom. The port views are to die for! The first morning I awoke in the master bedroom, I thought I had accidentally fallen asleep literally on the ocean-front. Words cannot describe the feeling of comfort as you walk out of your bedroom onto the wrap around balcony for a cup of morning coffee or a late night cocktail. Details, details, details! Interior design must have been a profession for Helen because every inch of this property is fitted perfectly with exotic accents and well placed furnishings. I cannot stress enough how much Helen’s condo overwhelmed me with magnificence! The amenities that are included are the use of a fully equipped gym that sits atop the garage building. The gym also has a rooftop jogging trail which overlooks the condominium plaza and has exquisite views of Old San Juan and the fortresses. You can also get a nice workout swimming a couple of laps in the outdoor pool or you could just relax and have an afternoon sunbath. The condo plaza houses one of the coziest and quaint indoor/outdoor restaurants (Melano’s). Their food is superb and the Orange Chicken with Rice and Beans is highly recommended! Old San Juan is literally about a 5-10 minute walk from the condo and there is a free Trolley that will take you throughout Old San Juan and the surrounding fortresses. Before entering El Morro Fortress, you may want to purchase a kite since kite-flying seems to be a local favorite pass-time on this beautifully breezy port. If you are a young tourist (early 20’s to mid 30’s), I strongly recommend the Lazer Club in Old San Juan. If you are a lover of Reggaeton music then this is definitely the club for you! These of course are just a few recommendations out of many things to do in Puerto Rico. I wish I had more time to journey further into this exotic land! Helen has a display in the condo that lists thousands of things to do while visiting. Again, I cannot stress how much I enjoyed my stay at Helen’s condo and I highly recommend this place for anyone! I will definitely stay here again once if Helen will have me. Thank you, thank you, again, Helen!

Clean, classy, comfortable! Views were absolutely outstanding! Decor was very upscale "island" and comfy!

We are 2 older couples and felt very safe and comfortable! We loved watching the cruise ships come and go, as well as other boats in the harbor. Not a beach area, but pool very well kept. Walk to Old San Juan in 5-10 min.

Local market has a cart and will give round trip ride. (ask owner for # as it about a 20 min. walk one way) Kitchen was very user friendly & we loved eating on the balcony! Extended cable TV has many English channels.

Melao's Restaurant on ground floor ROCKS! Tiny but wow! (They speak English very well!) Puerto Rican food with explanations! So very delicious and plentiful!

The condo owner, Helen, met us there and gave us several local hints that were very helpful. Her attention to detail was evident in the classy unit!

The beds, linens and towels were ultra clean and very comfortable and 2 bathrooms worked so well for 2 couples.

A couple negatives: Vehicle noise from street below makes you want to close windows at night (still some noise goes through) Elevator in secured parking garage was broken. Need a TV in Master bedroom (2nd bedroom has one-we were so happy!)

Upon our return to the States, we have already recommended staying here for others! Elegant condo experience!
