Overlooking Somers Bay on Flathead Lake. The guest quarters is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by a lovely flower garden. A short walk down a secluded path takes you to the private dock on the lake.
The main room consists of the living area, kitchenette and dinette with access to a full bath. Double doors open to a large bedroom . The apartment is heated by a natural gas stove which looks like a small wood stove. The bedroom opens on to the patio / lanai.
Paying guests are allowed day use (10:00 am - 5:00 pm) of the dock and beach area for swimming, sun bathing and ingress/egress of boating equipment.
Kitchenette: The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, blender, and coffee maker. There are numerous pots and pans and cooking utensils, plus plates and silverware.
Bedroom: The bedroom has a king-size bed, desk, love-seat, dresser and closet. There is cable TV, plus a DVD/VCR and a small video library.

Great place to stay! Nicest owners around!
The apt is very nice. Clean as a whistle and very comfortable. King sized bed was great and the full sized futon was great for our 10 year old son.
The house is right across the road from the lake. You take a very cool tram down to the dock. Water was cold at 54 degrees, but clear as a bell.
Overhead fan above the bed made for a nice breeze when the temps got up to the high 80's. Fully stocked kitchen made it easy to make meals so we didn't go broke eating out.
We rented a boat at Wild Waves Rentals down the road a bit in Lakeside. Was a ton of fun. Highly recommended. For meals out, you can take in some great pizza and other fare at the McKenzie River Pizza Company in Whitefish (about 25 miles north of the house.)
The Going to the Sun road is a must do. Winds it's way East-West through Glacier National Park. Beautiful drive, but they are doing some rebuilding the road so there is gravel to contend with. Make sure you stop at Lake McDonald on the way. Cool lodge and a nice place to explore around the park.
Overall, I have to give this place and the area a 10! It was a great time! Highly recommended!
