Do you need to relax? Do you need to soak up the sun and sea? Welcome to our luxury townhouse on Corcega beach in the Stella Community, one of the more welcoming and friendly family neighborhoods in Rincon. The beach is steps from our front door. Ours is the largest and most private of the 8 townhouses at Wave Coast. It is fully equipped with top-of-the-line EVERYTHING, and furnished in a style that is both comfortable and modern. Everything is immaculate, bright, fresh, and top quality. The interior is a spacious 2-stories (2100 sq.ft.), and air conditioned throughout. We have 2 large bedrooms, a pull-out sofa in the living room, and 3.5 bathrooms. Bicycles, board games, I-pod doc,and espresso machine are provided for your convenience. We have a 'pac-n-play', 'sippy cups', and beach toys in case you are bringing a little one. On the romantic roof-top terrace, enjoy a soothing jacuzzi - for your use only; not shared with neighbors. The terrace has a gas grill, table and chairs, and lounge chairs for sun bathing, as well as a view of the sunset. You can also cool off in our private dipping pool in the backyard, with a snack or a drink at the table on the ground level, private patio. Everything you need is within a couple of miles: delicious restaurants, pharmacy, playground, a sports complex, grocery store, and Rincon village.
Andy and Robyn fell in love with Rincon, Puerto Rico while taking a vacation with our daughters in 2004. On a second trip to Rincon, in 2007, we stumbled upon our townhouse - still under construction at the time - and we were hooked. When we are not in Rincon, Robyn is a special educator and Andy is an engineer. We love good food, fresh air, reading, gardening, and running.
Suite 8 in Rincon was the perfect spot for us. It is steps away from the calmer part of the surf in Rincon, and we love that we can snorkel right off the beach. It is close enough to the surfer beaches, so we can play at those beaches, too. But we love that we can leave the wilder, crazier scene to go home to Suite 8 in the evenings. Suite 8 was built just 4 years ago, and we were able to furnish it with new appliances and furniture that we love. We made sure to stock it with everything we would hope to find, if we were the renters. We love the privacy of sun-bathing on the roof-top terrace, or slipping into the private jacuzzi in the evenings to look at the stars. Also, the neighborhood was perfect for us. It's safe and friendly. Robyn goes running alone most mornings, and enjoys the beauty of the vistas overlooking the bright blue sea. We find ripe mangos falling from the trees all around our property. We also love that, although our neighborhood is very typically Puerto Rican - with roosters crowing, and the smell of delicious Caribbean home cooking all around - most people speak English, so it is very easy to strike up a conversation with folks we meet. We hope to retire at Suite 8 in about 10 years.
We have met so many community-minded people, we are now part of a group that uses snorkel masks and fins to clean up the reefs along the shore. There is an easily accessible 'sub-community' of health conscious and athletic people. Rincon hosts many sporting events for bikers, triathletes, and surfers. There is a wonderful sports facility less than a mile from Suite 8, where you will see folks of all ages walking the track or taking an outdoors aerobics class, every morning.
