Perfect Tucson Retreat!

Spaz United States
Review Submitted: November 3, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
Can't "Thank You" enough for our great stay in Tucson:) We were both surprised and happy upon our arrival. The place was even better than the pictures posted on the internet! Nena and Fred are such a delight and a great welcome when we arrived.

My daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren could not have stayed at a nicer place. All the little added touches and supplies were greatly appreciated! I have been bragging about your place to everyone:) I feel overjoyed to have found it and to be able to recommend to anyone planning an extended stay in Tucson..."The Perfect Retreat"!

Thank You! Pam McNeice

Great Location

GM&S Seattle
Review Submitted: April 21, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
We left the dreary April rain showers in Seattle for a bit of famous Arizona sunshine and could not have been happier with our choice of stay. The location in the beautiful foothills is ideal for easy access to hiking and my husband found a long trail to run along the (dry) Rillito River. It's also very close to restaurants, shopping and even downtown Tucson is not a far drive. The accomodations were very comfortable and spacious and the owners have paid a lot of attention to the little details that make a vacation home attractive. We really appreciated their restaurant suggestions and would definitely return.

We were a group of four from cold climates. We couldn't wait to get to this house to see what it was like and get some sunshine. The house is marvelous. Everything that you would need has been stocked by thoughtful owners. . .the decor is classic and tasteful. . .the house clean and bright. The pool/hot tub area great, the neighborhood quiet. We hated to leave and would happily come again. The owner's made very helpful suggestions for restaurants and attractions. Thank you, Ben and Charlotte and Fred and Nena, as well. A slice of Heaven!

We stayed 2/15/09-2/27/09. I'd give this property a strong recommendation. It was immaculately clean and well maintained.
The location is in a very nice quiet, safe development, and it seemed that everything within Tucson we wanted to get to was within 20 minutes. I'd go back again.

Respite From the World

We were immediately impressed by the townhome complex itself - streets are beautifully quiet and the units are built in the Tucson style of privacy and attractiveness. Landscaping is lovely in the area, and the landscaping of this unit was in keeping with that. We felt immediately at home when we entered the unit - decor is attractive, understated, elegant and most of all, comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and great for a family and there are ample supplies for laundry, etc. There are two lovely bedrooms and two full bathrooms. I especially liked the skylights throughout - I found myself trying to turn off lights in the bathrooms and realized that it was natural daylight! The walk-in closet in the master bedroom is so bright and roomy that I found it a wonderful place for yoga. There is a barbeque and patio table on the back porch, and it is a great place to listen to bird song in the morning and watch the sunset at night. The community pool and hot tub is an excellent facility and people we met there were very friendly. We plan to return to this townhome when the chill of British Columbia becomes too much once again.

We stayed at this location in February. It is a lovely house. Very clean and well maintained. The place is nicely decorated. The owner e-mail us beforehand on suggestions to restaurants and places to visit. You would need a car to get around. I would highly recommend this place when visiting Tucson.

Our Stay at this lovely place

Rested vacationer Westchester, NY
Review Submitted: January 5, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
Our family of four were in Tucson this past week (Dec 27 - January 4) as my younger son was in the Copper Bowl. The stay was extremely enjoyable, attributable to the owners' tasteful decoration and meticulous attention to details that made us feel very much at home. (Examples are: detergent provided to wash our kids' smelly tennis shirts/shorts, nice soap in the 2 bathrooms, even pain-killers and band-aid in the medicine cabinet, zip-plog bags for pack-a-lunch, bottles of water in the fridge...) Owners also suggested places to dine and visit while we were there. The king-size bed in the master bed room is very comfortable, and the bed sheets are of top-quality. The full-size bed in the second bedroom is a bit small for my 2 teenage boys but they didn't mind as they enjoy each others' company a lot especially as my older son is already in college and is spending some precious vacation time with his younger brother. All in all, this is an excellent stay and we would highly recommend to anyone who needs a 2 BR, 2 Bath place while at Tucson.
