Wilburton Inn

My family stayed at the Wilburton Inn over the Christmas/New Years week. We had 3 families and 3 kids between the ages of 1 1/2 and 3 1/2.
The accommodations were not new, but very charming and probably the best that we have had in all the years that we have been renting in the Manchester area. The house was spacious and we all had our privacy. The living room/dining room area was very large and great for the kids. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. It was great having a washer and dryer in a spacious laundry room.
The location was very convenient, and the grounds were good for sledding, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. There was plenty of room to move around. Although we did not use it, having a restaurant in the main building is a very convenient feature
The owner and his staff were very gracious and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We are all looking forward to a return trip in the near future.

Owner's Response: This family also had three beautiful Irish setters who found their home in the separate laundry room.
When I suggested this guest to write a review he hesitated to share his impressions out of concern of the house becoming too popular and being left out the next time he visited. So indeed he made sure to reserve three other dates this year before sending in his review.

I am delighted when everything works well and I was a very happy innkeeper this New Year's week end as all my guests felt content for their stays this critical and busy time.

One topic of conversation was how many years people have been coming back to the inn and its houses. We have owned it 23 years. Among the guests were families that have been here 20 years in a row, 15 times and six times.

The proof of the approval of my place was that upon leaving many guests were making a reservation to come back the next New Year.
