Just a quick note to express my thanks to Mark for allowing my family and I to share this wonderful cabin. Very Clean and well maintained. Great Game room for the kids and the beds were very comfortable. Thanks Again!!!

we stayed here in july 2010, 3 adults and 5 children. we had a great time, the kids enjoyed the pool table and video games while the adults watched movies upstairs. the hot tub was used nightly! and the grill was perfect for steak night.
unfortunately for us it was booked already for this year for our july trip. and when i say unfortunately for us, boy do i mean it. we ended up staying elsewhere and were miserable. the kids kept saying they just wanted to go back to last years cabin. note to self, book early!! :)

This cabin was alot of fun, The game room was loaded with things to do (Pool Table, Fooseball,Air Hockey,Pac Man Game, 50" Flat screen etc. For a 3 bedroom it is HUGE!!. Clean well maintained. Thank You for sharing your mountain retreat!~

What a great cabin! We have stayed at several cabins over the past few years but none have matched our stay at the Against The Wind. From the views from the deck, to the comfort of the beds it is all wonderful! When we stayed at the Against The Wind we had a variety of ages (from Grandma, to a “tween” to a 17-year old) there was something for everyone to enjoy. You won’t want to leave Against The Wind …it is so relaxing there. But if your group feels the need to stay “connected” that’s not a problem either. With the wireless DSL the kids were still connected to their friends and that was only when they weren’t in the game room playing pool or one of the other games; or the family was enjoying family movie time! We even brought our ice cream churn & made homemade ice cream to enjoy during one of our movie nights! The kitchen is definitely well equipped. You can’t ask for more…..everything promised in the listing is actually there! Plenty of seating for everyone, a wonderful gas grill, enough cooking utensils to prepare meals, hot tub, wonderful views; it’s all there. Thank You Mark for sharing your ATW with our family! We have been coming to the mountains for several years and this was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. No matter where you were in the cabin, you had the most amazing mountain and wooded views. The trees were in full color and were just breath taking. We had 3 teenage girls and 4 adults and had plenty of room. The girls enjoyed all the games and even though they are teenagers, they still enjoyed the Disney movies. They had a floor all to themselves. And we enjoyed the ballgames (especially the Alabama game). ROLL TIDE. We would certainly recommend this cabin to anyone. The weather was so cold, yet we were so comfortable. The pictures are just exactly what you get only more beautiful. The roads are a little tricky but by the time we left, we had them fully under control!!!

Thanks, Mark, for a time we will always cherish. Your cabin is the best. We never got to turn on the logs, but that's OK, we could burn gas logs when we got home. We will definitely return to this wonderful, comfortable, amazing, cabin.

Mark thank you for everthing, your cabin was GREAT!!!. Against The Wind was more than we expected from the moment we entered the cabin we felt at home. We made some big meals for the group and your kitchen was fantastic we had everything we needed. We will be back in late October,

Listing was not accurate. Property is not well maintained, furniture well worn and abused, only sheets and dirty riped quilts on the beds. The game room had no darts for the dart board, air hockey table was broke and tilted.
If Iam paying a cleaning fee then I expect the place to be clean to start with.
We had a hard time reaching the cabin in a van. For the Money I was looking for something in better shape and with a accurate listing.
Don't do DollyWood unless you like waiting in long lines.

This is a very relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed staying with all the extra's provided. The children enjoy the game room. Any one looking for a worderful place for the family this is it.
