Secluded in 1.5 wooded acres beautiful log cabin with seasonal mountain view and access to the Chattahoochee River. Minutes from Helen, Ga. , Unicoi Park and Lake Burton. Huge kitchen accommodates 8 to 10. Playroom with a hockey table, TV/cable and DVD with plenty of movies to watch when you are resting. CD player for your favorite music and a lot of room for the kids to play with toys, read or write. Main bedroom has its own balcony facing the mountains . Cozy living room with plenty of space. The cabin has 3 big decks to enjoy the view while having a BBQ, jumping in the Hot Tub or having a glass of wine.
Black Bear Lodge Cabin Has access to the Chattahoochee River where you can fish or swim. This is a beautiful setting that you can enjoy in summer or winter.

Beautiful Surroundings and Very Pleasant Stay

I rented this cabin with four other friends from high school (we are now in our 30's) for a reunion. We had a fantastic time going to Anna Ruby Falls, the town of Helen, and walking along to the Chattahoochee river.
I was coming from London, three other friends from Atlanta, one from Knoxville and the other from New York. We all enjoyed the cabin muchly and had a blast.
The cabin's location is difficult to find initially, so please follow the owners directions rather than "google maps" which caused us to get lost for over an hour.
The cabin is larger than we had expected, equipped with everything you might need, and is the perfect size for relaxing and exploring the area. I loved the wrap around porch and the swing! I might suggest new pots and pans - but aside from that, this was a fantastic rental.
I would absolutely rent it again. Thank you.

We had such a wonderful time at this cabin in the mountains. We also appreciate the last minute reservations accommodations made due to us not wanting to drive back home after our horseback riding in the mountains. The cabin was such a wonderful escape, and we really enjoyed being able to bring our dog, Rudy, who also enjoyed the large deck surrounding the cabin. We will definitely be back soon!

This was our third time at the site, but the first alone, there was such a great enjoyable solitude, i pictured it as fallow : us and the soothing sounds of the forest, my wine and the barbeque raving with the bubbly and crispy sound of the hardly visible bouncing of flavor over the juicy piece of steak while we felt lost observing the faint sun disappearing into the distance.

We had such a wonderful time in this cabin. It was so roomy and so cozy, a true cabin! We enjoyed the firepit outside and the HUGE wrap around porch with the relaxing hot tub. Definatley a great place to stay in, always something to do in this area! Also, a great cabin to share with other families! We LOVED staying here and look forward to coming back in the summer months so we can hike down to the Chattahootchee and cool off in the crystal clear river!

this was my second time at the cabin, two years later the place remains as a paradise close to helen , isabel is a great person, she took my SOS phone call very late at night when i was lost in the middle of the mountains getting me ahead to the cabin , i never forget that. as before the cabin had all i needed and more, this is a real peaceful place, really close to main surroundings attractions. all fixtures were in shape, the deposit refund just on time. so a perfect place!!!! don't miss the chance enjoy it.

Good time! The outside temperature was 98 and the cabin temperature was 94. It would have been nice for the A/C to have been on when we arrived. It took about 7 hours for the temperature to cool down. The cabin is very nice and would have been a wonderful weekend if the temperature would have been a liitle cooler.

The picture of this cabin does not give it justice. This cabin is way more beautiful than we could of ever thought. This was the first time in over 20 years since we have been in the mountains and it was beautiful. The cabin was so spacious and had everything we needed for the few days we stayed there. We would like to come back in the winter time to hopefully see some snow. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful and spacious cabin.

We found the cabin very clean and well furnished. My only problem was the entrance stairs. I had knee surgery in Jan. and found it impossible to navigate the outside stairs without help. I do believe that there should be a railing of some sort on either side or in the middle of the stairs. Do to this problem it would not be possible for me to rent this beautiful cabin again. I felt very guilty because my two friends had to carry my luggage up and down for me. With a railing or something to hold on to I would have been able to help as I did with the inside stairway. Thank you for renting this lovely cabin to us.

My husband and I went here for our Anniversary and had a wonderful time. The cabin was nice and we loved going in the hot tub every night. It is about 9 miles from helen, GA.

Just want to say thank you so much for this vacation rental stay. My girlfriends joined me to celebrate my birthday by getting away from the busy city.
