This message is to anyone who reads my comments: You'd be out of your mind to stay any where else other than this beautiful home. I wholeheartedly agree with all previous comments posted about the Marsh House. It is a perfect house in a perfect location, totally comfortable & absolutely enjoyable. I was happy as a clam just sitting on the porch looking out over the marsh or walking down the road to the long boardwalk over another marsh to the beach. My wife, 2 sons & 2 daughters stayed here 4 nights ( not long enough )during Christmas week & none of us wanted to leave. We plan to reserve another stay here in 2009.

Perfect! We selected this house for its private setting,
upscale amenities, and pleasing layout... and it did not disappoint! In the house for a week for our company
retreat, all 8 of us were very comfortable and had a

We found the Marsh House just by chance on the VRBO website and we were THRILLED with the house and amenities once we arrived there! the owners have thought of just about everything you could need for a stay there; from a refernce book about how to work appliances to lists of reccomended restaurants and attractions. The house is a great get-away, relaxing place. If you are considering renting the Marsh house, We would highly reccomend it!!!

My wife and I have stayed at numerous rental vacation homes at Wild Dunes over the past 10 years, and the Marsh Home is by far the best we have stayed in without exception. When we arrived (for a week in January 2008), it was spotless, without any stains or soiled furniture, perfectly maintained beautiful wood floors, outstanding furnished rooms, and equipped with top of the line amenities such as the dishwasher, stove, garbage disposal, granite counters, Grohe faucets and bath ware, ceramic tiled baths, a music and entertainment center designed for the most fanatic enthusiasts, huge screened and unscreened porches with fans facing an expansive and breath taking marsh area , and detailed instructions in the form of a booklet detailing exactly how to operate and maintain everything. If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet place to enjoy the beauty of marsh scenery on the Isle of Palms, and more specifically Wild Dunes, you need look no further for a home with an open floor plan and an outstanding place to simply enjoy yourself and the beautiful surroundings. My 5 girlfriends and I stayed here for 4 nights - what a beautiful home and PERFECT location! The gracious owners have provided every single thing you will need for a wonderful stay and the best guide book I've ever seen. The living room and Master Bedroom have the most amazing views - the pictures don't do them justice. I highly recommend this home.

This is an exceptional home providing a unique experience so near to the beach. The marsh view is a delight. The construction, the furnishings and the conveniences are top shelf. The property is in pristine condition and the owners could not be more committed. This place of respite should be particularly attractive to a sophisticated clientele.

Words and pictures cannot do justice to the Marsh House....everything you read in the comments here is true and more....but you must experience it to appreciate the warmth and comfort it provides. We just visited for a second time and extended our visit an extra week to include a few days with our children and grandchildren. Our family absolutely loved their visit and wanted to stay longer but we stood firm. We missed the kids, but loved the serenity of sharing the place just the two of us. It was almost like the kids came "home" to visit. For us, it's the ideal place to get away and "kick back". We will definitely return again!!

We had a wonderful vacation at the Marsh House. The house is spectacular-huge windows, peaceful porches, beautiful views of the marsh, and a private, peaceful neighborhood. Our girls loved riding bikes and walking over the boardwalk to the beach. We saw deer almost every day, rabbits, raccoons, and all kinds of birds. We have stayed in several properties at Wild Dune, and this was by far the most enjoyable. The owners have provided everything needed for a great vacation and are available and easy to deal with.
