Great Place to Stay!

This rental was perfect for us - extremely clean, comfortable, well-equipped and close to where we needed to be for our daughter's wedding. It was so much easier to be in a home rather than in 5 hotel rooms, especially with small children. Access to Route 1 and 95, shopping and traveling, is so easy. Old Town and Mount Vernon just minutes away. Carlos is an excellent host. Would we do it again? Absolutely!

Lovely home. Clean and spacious. Great location. We rented a car at Ronald Reagan airport and then left the car at the Huntington metro station each day we went into DC (parking at the metro station is very affordable). Very convenient to have breakfast at the house and then stop for take-out for supper. Carlos is a wonderful host. We highly recommend this home. Thank you, Carlos!!!!!

We enjoyed using this home while visiting for our son's wedding. It accommodated many family members, was spacious, well-equipped, and clean. The house is in a quiet location and was quiet within. Some were able to sleep while others were up and active. The kitchen is particularly well set up; utensils, cooking and eating items were complete and easy to locate.

We will use this rental again and have already recommended it to friends.

You do need a car as the house is not near a metro station. Access is good from major roadways.

Beautiful house. Very clean and comfortable. Well equipped. Ideal location for visiting DC (park at Huntingdon - 5 mins - and take the metro), Alexandria (nice harbour & lots of restaurants) and Mount Vernon. Plenty of shopping & restaurants within minutes. Carlos is very friendly and helpful and was extremely efficient in handling our booking and queries.

My family and me loved the house, everything is near by. Grocery and 24 seven eleven are all around the area. The owner Carlos is very friendly and easy to reach if there is a problems, we had no problems at ALL. Also, the kithcen is full of food, cafe and snacks. D.C. and all sightseeing is just 10 minutes by car. We loved the house and I recommend it, indeed.

The house was very clean and well furnished and kitchen well equipped with the exception of a large roaster for a big family. The beds were comfy, showers clean with good water pressure and though we were a large crowd, we had adequate hot water and bathroom availability. Pleanty of eating space. Lacks card tables and games for those gamesome ones. 10:00 am Check out time is early for a large bunch. Short distance by car to the Huntington station. All day parking is cheap, don't forget your smart strip before leaving the station. Quiet neighborhood, diverse community with plenty of grocery stores nearby. We are a family of good cooks so we did not try any of the restaurants but read some good reviews.

grandparents, parents, teenagers and friends all had a good time at this house, carlos went above and beyond by installing ramps to make the house accessible for motorized wheelchair to access 2 levels of the home , and back yard . plenty of space in bedroom and living room for wide turns. bathroom door not accessible by wheelchair. great cold air on hot humid days. we never ran out of hot water with 9 people, laundry and dishwasher.

7 of us stayed in this terrific home for memorial day weekend. Even with the enormous traffic it was soooo easy to get in and around the dc area from the house, yet it was in a beautiful quiet neiborhood that we all enjoyed relaxing in after a long day of seeing the sites!

i cant think of anything that the house didnt have that we needed. It is beautiful, roomy and the kitchen was so great.
