We Had Great Time Here

Thank you Mike for a wonderful stay and sorry for not reviewing it earlier. Mike and his Mom were wonderful. Lily was waiting for us in the lobby at agreed time and showed us our ocean view unit that was squeaky clean LOL, well stocked for a week and very comfortable.
To be honest I was originally a bit sceptical of what to expect due to an amazingly low weekly rate but all my worries have turned into pleasure once we saw what we're getting for $450. During our stay we met other renters we hang out with almost daily and saw 2 other units that were in the same price range but nowhere nearly as nice as ours.
We strongly recommend staying here if you wants a budget vacation that satisfies 100%. Mike and Lily are wonderful people who make their renters feel comfortable and very welcome. We are now planing to come again for 2 weeks this winter with our friends.

Home (away from) home definetly !!!

Our first time but definitely not last ! The apartment is clean, well maintained and so cozy almost like "at home" feeling- that made so positive impression on us instantly. Not to mention the beach, beautiful boardwalk and restaurants (and I have to say hot tub and pool for sure ) that made our little getaway really relaxing and enjoyable. Also, love the kitchen /kitchenette since we both enjoy late night snacks - so convenient and in perfect working condition. What was most important for us -a good night sleep - the bed is so comfortable and sheets are in immaculate condition so we really appreciate the condition you keep and maintain the furniture and linen. As a woman i really pay attention to details and we enjoyed each of them to be honest.
Thank you for your hospitality Mr.Mike and your mother for meeting with us upon arrival, she made us feel so welcome and comfortable there. We are looking forward for our next getaway and meantime, we will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.

HORRIBLE!

This place is nothing like it is described! If I could give it zero stars I would! Our stay started with entering a FILTHY unit that still had the sheets from the last person as well as defecation from the last person all over the toilet. Shortly after arrival, the unit owners mother knocked on the door and complained constantly of her anemia and lack of being able to clean. After showing her that the shower had caked on sand in it, the toilet was filthy, the towels were dirty and the bed sheets weren't clean, she attempted to clean some of it. After losing our patience, we left for dinner only to come back and see that the coffee pot still had the last person's coffee in it and the dishes were still dirty. The bed is far from comfortable. It was the worst sleep we have ever had. You sink into it, it squeaks terribly and the plastic TABLECLOTH used as a bed protector resulted in a miserable nights rest. Also, we had to make a trip to Wal-Mart as only one roll of toilet paper was provided to us for our FIVE DAY stay. We also purchased additional towels since few were provided to us as well. The place was so bad, we decided to stay in the keys for a day just to get a good nights sleep. We payed an extra fee to have a 5 pm check out and instead his mother was knocking on the door an hour early. She immediately walked in and had little regard for our checkout time or the fact that we were trying to get packed up. It was incredibly rude and inconsiderate. She continued to complain of her anemia once again and stated that someone was checking in at 6:00pm. To think that another person had to stay at this place and she only had an hour to clean it showed that it was going to be filthy for them too!
Aside from the unit, the resort is as bad as it is reviewed elsewhere online. It claims to be an Oceanwalk Mall, but it is far from a mall featuring only a few stores and filth everywhere. This was the worst vacation stay I have ever been to and it completely made our trip less than relaxing. Unfortunately, there was little we could do as we had spent the money on this place already. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!

Owner's Response: THIS IS SILLY – Last 4 years clearly show highest level of satisfaction and appreciation for our unit and service backed by other reviews on this site and numerous personal "thank you" notes written to my Mom who cleans and prepares the units.
1st Complaint that my Mom was late 30min was quickly disregarded once I forwarded 2 separate emails proving guest can check herself in at any time since paid in full. Her reply “well, checking was actually not a problem”??? Guest was caught yelling while ripping the freshly washed bed sheets and throwing freshly washed towels to the floor, stepping on it, then off course complaining of unclean sheets??? Daily, same “problems” would be repeated as we have never solved them a day prior??? Like in that Groundhog Day movie.
On the serious note, our guest used anti Semitic comments towards my Mom & all “typical foreigners” her words not mine. WE DO NOT TOLERATE ABUSE OF PROPERTY AND PEOPLE!!!
We have refunded her a portion of her stay as she requested and I was half way around the world, did everything to remedy this “bad” situation but if I have known the full story I would have refunded her in full and asked her to kindly leave.
We do not nor we say we do, daily sheets and towel changes. Plastic wrap assures prevention of filth setting in the mattress topped by a mattress pad. We couldn’t confirm the “squeaky bed” unless she fixed it LOL
We take extra steps to wash all beddings and towels at home instead of the building's laundry to maximize cleanliness. We wash and change all beddings and towels for every guest at arrival. We have guests that stay 3days or 3 months. Each guest gets freshly washed 1 bath, 1 face and 1 hand towel and 1 set of beddings, unless the stay is over 7 days in which case we provide second bedding set. Dish and hand soap along with 1 role of toilet paper, box of Kleenex and paper towels. There is laundry on every floor…If the preference is a full daily service and restocking we urge you kindly to book a hotel...
Stayed at Trump for $560/day. The tap stayed in my hand daily, shower leaked into the living room daily, surrounded by loud construction 9-5.. DIDN'T COMPLAIN...Just returned from renting a private villa & didn't get hand soap, dish liquid NOT EVEN TOWELS!!! I got 1 role of toilet paper and still had a great time! I passed the owner every day with a huge smile on my face, DIDN'T COMPLAIN..I was too busy enjoying vacation :) LIFE IS GREAT LETS ENJOY IT :) Thank you.

We enjoyed our time in Hollywood Beach. The condo was perfect for our needs. There are many restaurants available within walking distance. The broadwalk is excellent. Thank you Mike for a wonderful stay.

Great Place just got back after our 15 day stay. For us it's a home away from home. This is our second visit here and we enjoyed it even more the second time around. The unit itself has been well kept. We will definitely be back again!

Thanks Mike for a great condo. Your condo was home away from home. View was perfect, location was the best. We enjoyed ourselves very much. We didn't need a car, however we drove so we had one. Only negative was parking garage cost. Considering what you charged.....made up for pkg charges. Again...thanks and we will stay at your condo next time we are in Hwld.

We stayed there for 4 days from June 20th to the 24th. The kitchentte had everything we needed, the room was kept very clean, and the view was nice of the ocean directly from the room. For the price you can't beat this deal, and the location was actually quite central - we were able to get to everything from Fort Lauderdale to South Beach in just a short drive.

This is perfect for anyone. Took my 2-year old and we had everything needed to enjoy hollywood. The location is great! Pool is just outside and ocean is across from a long and walkway. The unit is kept clean, and is very confortable.

Fantastic and fun getaway at just the right price

This condo is in the perfect location, right on the broadwalk and with direct views of the beautiful ocean on Hollywood Beach. Our experience was fantastic from our first meeting with the condo hostess who made sure check in went smoothly and gave us a brief tour of the resort to settle us in. The owners are charming yet professional. We had excellent communication to make our last minute travel arrangements work. The condo is quaint, simple functionality that is most comfortable. The kitchenette has all you need. The people and staff at the resort were also pleasant and friendly. We surfed the waves, soaked in the hot tub, enjoyed the expansive pool and had our choice of an active night life and quiet lazy days. We look forward to our next chance to get away to the beach here.
