Idyllic Spot in Estes Park

What a wonderful find! We loved everything about our stay at Mountain Views. Quiet location with fabulous views from the decks. Extremely well-appointed and perfectly maintained home with every convenience at our fingertips. The hot tub was very much appreciated after a long day of hiking, and the super-duper gas grill was much used. Although we did not have much time for viewing, the flat screen tv upstairs was a bonus, and the wi-fi connection also was excellent. Linda and Bob were outstanding hosts and have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. Would definitely recommend to friends and relatives.
Owner's Response: We are so happy you enjoyed Estes Mountain Views, and your visit to Estes Park, and found the home to be perfect for your stay. Please come and stay with us again!

We spent 3 nights at Mountain Views, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy Estes Park and RMNP. The location was great...close to town, but not right in the middle of everyone else. The deck was wonderful...lots of room, a spectacular view, and that wonderful hot tub! There were so many lovely little touches in this home that I couldn't begin to name them all...the decorations, the linens and towels, the warm and inviting atmosphere…every single thing in this home spoke volumes about how the owners really thought about how to make this a true home away from home for vacationers. Nothing was overlooked. It was comfortable and beautiful with lots of room to spread out. We can't wait to come back!

Top-Notch Rental!

My husband and I really enjoyed our week long stay at Estes Mountain Views. It is a great place to rest and vacation! The house is cozy and very tastefully decorated. It's close to downtown, yet far enough away, that you seem to have your own private "piece" of Prospect Mountain. Another appealing bonus is its proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park. Our first visit to Colorado was certainly top-notch, thanks to the memorable stay we had at Mountain Views. Indeed, we hope to be back!

Great views...Close but quiet

Review Submitted: June 10, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
Beautiful site with a great deal of privacy. The layout is great, with the main living space all upstairs. We spent most of our time out on the deck, either in the hot tub, at the patio table, or basking in the sun on the lounge chairs enjoying the view.

Everything we needed was there - beautiful kitchen; new gas grill and easy flow through the whole upstairs. It was also easy to break away and walk down to the river walk.

The only drawback was the accessability for our 80 yr old mother, who had to climb up and down a lot.

Private, perfect, and pristine!

Estes Mtn Views is the perfect little hideaway. Gorgeous views, just as promised, and very private! We were looking for privacy and yet easy access into RMNP and this was not only perfect but convenient, affordable, and everything that the owners promised. They were so easy and professional to deal with!
We used this home as a weekend getaway to hike and do some exploring in the park. The 2nd floor was all we needed in this house...living room, bedroom, very roomy bath, and kitchen...not to mention a deck and hot tub right off of the living room. (There is a laundry room on the 1st floor that was convenient after a wet and muddy day of hiking.) We used the fireplace each night with the thoughtfully provided firewood, and enjoyed some NBA action on the flat screen TV.
The flooring, baths and kitchen in this house have been updated with natural granite and stone, cork and laminate flooring, and it was very clean.
The home was furnished with everything you might need to be comfortable, including kitchen wares. We spent 3 days and 2 nights here and never ate out once...grilled out on the deck, and cooked in the kitchen. (Safeway is just a mile away.)
For us, the location to RMNP and the privacy were the most appealing things about this rental, but the kindness and professionalism of the hosts made the stay one we will always remember! With fingers crossed, we will be back!
Thanks Linda and Bob!

Absolutely perfect!

We were looking for a quick getaway to regain a little sanity, take in some views, do a little snow shoeing, and enjoy ourselves.
Mary and I spent a few days at Linda's place........what spectacular views of the RMNP, a outdoor hotub with the same view, and a fireplace that complimented every glass of wine we shared.
Everything worked as it should in the house and it was spotless when we arrived.
Highly recommend anyone visiting to check with Linda for a stay here.
Thank you!
Scott

Loved the hot tub with a view, wood fireplace, solid construction, and overall comfort. It was thoughtfully stocked with all the little things you sometimes need but don't bring on vacation! I spent 4 days snowshoeing with girlfriends and then 4 with my husband. The accomodations were perfect for both! I'll be back!

A splendid Thanksgiving weekend!

Review Submitted: December 17, 2008 Date of Stay: November 2008
We were lucky enough to be the first people to stay at Mountain View cabin! We were so cozy and comfortable relaxing in front of the fire, watching the deer wander by, or looking at the stars and the mountains while we lounged in the hot tub. In the morning my husband and our little boy would walk to the donut shop and the day after Thanksgiving we walked into town to see the sweet holiday Christmas parade. We now have wonderful memories of a lovely holiday weekend - we may make a stay at Mountain View a Thanksgiving tradition!
