The Hamptons w/o the hype

My hope is that people don’t read this because the secret will be out: this part of Brevard County is almost like Meadow Lane in Southampton. Beautiful homes and privacy straddled by an unspoiled beach to the east and the inter-coastal to the west, but without the exclusivity.
And to stay at Footsteps is to enjoy a unique, clean, well-appointed beach home. From the linens, to the appliances to the spaces and décor, Jeryl obviously invested love, thought, and resources.
We are a couple with a toddler, but this home is also perfect for a family with older children who surf or enjoy other beach activities, a family and the grand-parents, or for two small families.
We stayed eight nights and enjoyed the beach, boogie-boarding, walks to the river for the sunset, watching the sea turtles come up to lay their eggs, and drinks and barbeques on the decks. Next time, we may even bring a jet ski to launch from the river access.
The supermarket is about 6 miles up A1A. Area restaurants include a Chart House in Melbourne, but there are also fine smaller establishments nearby, like Café Coconut Grove or the Friendly Toast Café.
If you seek a top-notch beach home with privacy, then this is the place. We can’t wait to return!
