Great house and location.

The house is lovely. Fully stocked kitchen for the gourmet in you. Close to all the action, shops and restaurants on Front Street (walking) and easy access to the highways to get to all parts of Maui. The nearby baby beach is relaxing and the water calm. The neighborhood is very quiet at night. I would recommend. The property is well maintained, but might need some caulking in the master bathroom shower and softer and bigger twin beds. Otherwise, these minor things did not take away from the loveliness of the property.

Our much-needed vacation was remarkably relaxing despite our hectic reunion. Whale-watching at Baby Beach and taking afternoon naps in the daybed outside in the middle of winter was the best. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay very much. I think the best highlights were eating fresh island papayas for breakfast and having coconut for the first time. Your kitchen was so bright we just felt like cooking new island favorites most evenings. We made reservations to your great restaurants but somehow found ourselves eating in and enjoying our private space all to ourselves.

‘Can’t wait to be back in January.

Thank you for all the attention. I never felt so pampered and spoiled. I can’t believe I could actually have a relaxing vacation with my husband and 2 boys. The mid-week cleaning was great, but the location close to the beach sent the boys exploring while I stayed in the house sleeping—yes, sleeping! ‘Can’t wait to be back in January.

Our husbands all come from Kansas and for the last eight years, our families have taken our vacations together. Out of all those vacations, our two-week stay at Maui Mandalay this year was the most MAGICAL of all!

Call me a romantic, but truly, this vacation home has such wonderful vibes. Whoever furnished the house knew about good Feng Shui and gets an A-plus and the location was convenient too. The house was quiet and very private, yet we were only two blocks from downtown Lahaina, the shops, restaurants and the pub-crawl!

Our husbands went fishing one day and we had such fun cooking the ono and mahi-mahi they caught. The kitchen was fully furnished. There was a barbecue so we grilled fish and steaks, we made margaritas and mai tais and ate and drank al fresco all day.

Baby beach was really close to the house so we went there nearly everyday too. It wasn't as crowded as the ones in Kihei so it felt like we had our private beach. Plus, the beach had natural reefs so we immediately felt safer for our small children.

Going back to our homes and our jobs (and reality!) was really hard, but we're already planning next year's stay. Thank you for making it a special place for us. We'll definitely be in touch!

We recently rented at Maui Mandalay for two weeks through HomeAway.com. The villa was spacious and easily accommodated my family of eight.

We were very pleased at the many things available for our two-year-old. There is a step stool in the bathroom so she was able to use that for brushing her teeth. There was a set of plastic child cups in the kitchen and there was a good selection of children's books on the bookshelf.

We were also very happy with the "instruction booklet" left in the apartment. We referred to it a lot to see how to operate the washing machine, where to go for groceries, etc.

Finally, a wonderful perk is that there was wireless internet available in the villa so I was able to easily check my emails and book seats for our return flight home.

We took my family here to celebrate my daughter's graduation and since we're a big family (with grandparents and teenagers), we wanted a place close to everything where everyone can enjoy their activities and relax. I think it's also newly renovated, so the ladies in our group felt very much pampered. My mother-in-law for one couldn't stop talking about the Egyptian cotton sheets. Whoo hoo! Ladies like that sort of thing, I guess. Anyway, they felt so at home, that we had impromptu dinner parties which were a-ok for everybody. We thought it was great to be on Front Street, close to all the restaurants, when you felt like treating yourself to a nice meal but it was also nice to have a choice of having just a simple meal at the house. It really made our week in Maui last longer. The funny thing, I thought I would hardly see my daughter on this trip, but staying at this place actually gave us a chance to bond. While the adult ladies ran off to Kapalua to shop, my daughter and I were able to take surfing lessons and go ATVing, because the house was literally in the middle of Lahaina town! I am especially grateful I was able to take advantage of this perk and our time together because that to me is priceless!

This best thing about this rental property: Location. The worst thing: We had to leave. The owner's description was pretty right on. The house is located with steps to Baby Beach and just a few blocks from Old Lahaina. We walked into town each night. The house was very clean and everything we needed was there: kitchen supplies, snorkeling gear, ice chest, towels, play station, TV's, DVD's, etc. It was like being at home, but in Maui!!! The owner was a gem to work with, and I can highly recommend this rental property.
