What a wonderful home at a fantastic location! Everything was great and the pool is a huge bonus! We can't say enough about Dennis, the neighbor. He is a wealth of knowledge and we appreciate all the information and directions he gave us about local things to do and see! The location is great, far enough away from everything yet just a few minutes drive if needed. If you're looking for a nice, cozy place to spend your vacation on the lake, look no further. This is the place. We can't wait to come back.

We loved this vacation home. The house was perfect, the pool was wonderful, and the lake was incredible! The owner was great to deal with and the caretakers were so very kind. This was the best vacation we have ever taken and I would highly recommend it!!

Our experience with Patty and her vacation home at Smith Mountain Lake went perfectly and as advertised. Patty made herself available for questions and information as desired and her home was exactly as presented...very clean, very quiet, very peaceful, and very relaxing. The neighbor/caretakers were very friendly and helpful taking care of the flowers and other various tasks for Patty. We took advantage of the lake by renting a boat and tubing and wakeboarding much of the time as well as making a few side trips to some of the local VA historical sites. Caught up on a lot of reading. Also used the hill to the lake as a great way to exercise each morning (13 trips up and down the last day (very simple but effective). Would definitely do it again! Did see a fawn and a doe at various times and and finally the fox on the last day in one of the neighbors yards down by the lake. Pretty cool! Great place for the family to unwind and spend some time together!! Thanks Patty!!!

Our family had a wonderful time at the Robey home. We enjoyed the pool and the dock for our boat. A wonderful place to spend your vacation. We are already looking at next years vaction at the Robey home. We strongly recommend your vacation at the Robey home.

I can't say enough good things about Hickory Cove and my experience in rental this wonderful home. I've rented many vacation homes in previous years, and this was by far one of the best. Always before, I dealt with a realty company, so I was a bit cautious about renting direct from the owner. I have to say, though, that it was an absolute wonderful experience! Patty was always available to answer any questions I may have had and a joy to talk to! The home was lovely, quite unique with the brick interior, but very cozy. It was everything we needed and so much more! I can't think of a time when I've enjoyed my vacation as much as I did this one. The house was so peaceful and private and the scenery was breathtaking. Before we left to come one, we were already planning our return trip next summer.

We had a wonderful time on our vacation at the lake house! The house is very quiet and was set up perfectly for us. We got plenty of use out of the pool and boat dock. I'm sure we'll be back soon!

7/15/16 we had the best time at hickory cove. The peace and quiet was the best. we enjoyed seeing the deer everyday and one day we got a glimpse of the fox. the house was great, we really enjoyed the wonderful swimming pool and the property was beautiful. we hope to visit again soon. Susan

Just wanted to let you know my family and I had a great time at your house. In was one of the few vacations we have ever taken that we didn't need a vacation to recover from the vacation. Your home was very relaxing. Smith Mountain Lake is a real gem. We have already decided to make it a yearly event. I would recommend your property to anyone. See you next year.
