Everything we were hoping for...and more!!

My family had a very enjoyable vacation in Southern California, and the rental home was perfect! The children loved swimming in the beautiful pool, while my husband and I were able to relax in the connecting spa. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and was immaculate. We had plenty of room, very nice kitchen that looks out to the pool area, well decorated, looks like there were several recent upgrades, especially the upstairs bathroom. Nice big bonus room upstairs. The location was great, within easy driving distance to the beach, Disneyland, and in a good location between San Diego and Hollywood/LA. There are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The owners were very accessible and happy to answer all the questions I had. I would definitely recommend this rental to a friend or anyone looking to stay in a rental home in Southern CA. My kids are already planning to return for next year's vacation!

We are repeat guests at this home and have absolutely loved every stay. We have come and stayed with our grandchildren, attended our son's wedding and done some sight seeing. We find this home to be very comfortable and accommodating for all of us ranging in age from 2-60 years old. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the many rooms providing private spaces for all of our family.
The family room above the garage with it's own bathroom and bedroom is perfect for those in our family that have young children and don't wish to disturb the rest of us early in the morning.
Disneyland and the surrounding areas are close. We have always had a rental car and this made going to the beach and sightseeing possible.
The house was clean, well equipt and very comfortable. We have a grandson and a grown son that have severe allergies. Neither one of them has ever had any problem during their stay in this home.
The owners were very accessible and open in answering any questions that arose during our stay. We hope to return many times in the future! We love our home away from home!

Our experience at this house was mixed. The owners were very pleasant to deal with and our deposit cheque was returned promptly, however we did have issues with the cleanliness of the property. From the moment we stepped in the door I could smell dust. The furnishings are quite dated and not very comfortable. The pillows and throw on the sofa in the kitchen were tattered. I took pictures of the grime on the microwave vents and large dead bugs amongst the dust on the floor in the laundry room (but its separated from the living area of the house) The kitchen looks nice but a "gourmet kitchen" should really have some decent pots and pans and a real knife or two for cutting. The garborator didn't work, and they had plastic patio chairs at the kitchen table. We didn't see a vacuum and the brooms that were there were very old and ratty and felt full of grime. The upstairs bathroom was very nice and new looking but the ensuite looked like they had put some money into it but didn't quite finish it off. It was also very loud in the am and you could hear everything outside. All in all, with 3 kids ranging in age from 3.5 - almost 13, it was better than being cooped up in a hotel but we won't rent this property again. The kids didn't really care about the dust and grime and loved having the pool to swim in everyday. The house is well situated and it was easy enough for us to We went to Disneyland, Universal, toured Hollywood, hit a couple of the beaches briefly as it was too cold to stay for very long, and went to Medival Times. We had a great vacation and loved everything we did and all of the places we went. One of the best restaurants close to Disneyland was Joe's Crab Shack. There was an outdoor playground for the kids and the wait staff sang and danced for fun... food was terrific too. if you are going to stay here though you will need a car.

This house is exactly what the ad says about it. Sometimes a picture don't tell the truth, but about this place it sure does. A very good choice.

On arrival the property was as described, very clean and well maintained. The house is in a perfect location, a quiet residential area but within reach of many beaches, restaurants, shops and attractions. We hired a car throughout our stay (recommended) and visited attractions e.g soak city, Los Angeles zoo and universal studios.We also went to Laguna, Santa Monica and Huntington beaches, the beaches are very clean and safe and well covered by many life guards. Huntington its self is excellent on Tuesdays with a street market and entertainment and a good atmosphere. Many good restaurants nearby but Sizzlers was our favourite, salad bar recommended. A perfect property in a perfect location which we cannot recommend highly enough. We didn't want to leave but we will be back SOON!
