We Had The Vacation of a Lifetime. We Loved It !!!!

Review Submitted: April 18, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
Everything was wonderful, everything was exactly like Justin the owner described it to us. We couldn't have been happier or more satisfied after coming all the way from Sweden. We were truly impressed with this very unique home with it's intricate interior design and beautiful furniture. It provided us with elegance in paradise. We watched whales from the deck and lanai's, and being able to BBQ, dine, sunbathe, or just relax on the deck that overlooked the ocean and experiencing the most beautiful sunsets in the world was simply to die for. The home has EVERYTHING. It has a two person drop down jacuzzi bath that overlooks the ocean and one of the most incredible master bathrooms that I have ever seen. The ocean views from most every room of the home are something that I will never forget and the French doors that open out to the lanai's and deck bring the ocean right inside. It has a gourmet kitchen, and there is the most friendly and private walking/jogging trail in front of the home that provides a couple of miles of exercise at any time of day. This home is in an expensive neighborhood and you can get to anywhere on the island easily. Within a couple of minutes you can be at the supermarket, the movies, restaurants, shopping, or it's an easy drive to any of the tourist attractions like the volcano's, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world for surfing, swimming, snorkeling, or just watching the sunsets. We did not want to back to Sweden, and neither did the kids. We plan to come back each year, and will recommend it to my sister for her Honeymoon, as it will provide them with a Honeymoon that they will never forget and I know it will have them coming back to this wonderful home for each anniversary. We had great rates and we were provided with a quality of everything that was more than we were used to seeing in vacation homes, which was most impressive. There even provided beach supplies like a family sized cooler, beach towels, boogie boards, and more. We had the feeling of truly being at home. The vaulted ceilings the spaciousness, and the feeling of it all made us understand the local phrase " Lucky We Live Hawaii " that Hawaiians say to other. We loved the home. We thank our lucky stars we found it and it's great owners. They really went the extra mile to make us feel like their own family. We were provided with all the information on places to go, from the insight of those who live in Kona. We know you will fall in love with this home.

We had the most wonderful vacation that we have ever had anywhere in the world. Our experience was beyond compare from the prompt response and courteous treatment that Justin provided to the wealth of information and help that he gave us for our first of what will be many trips to this one of a kind homes in Kona.We always rent cottages or private homes, as we do not like to stay in hotels, but we have never come across anything like this home from the open beam ceilings to the French doors out to the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen over the ocean. Justin was correct in that all we needed was what was in our baggage, since everything we needed or could think to need was already there. We were close to everything. We had the most memorable day trips to see the volcano's. The home was right there and in no time at all we were in the water snorkeling at the beautiful underwater reefs of Kahalu Beach. In five minutes we were on the beach at the best Luau in Kona. We saw Akaka Falls, Rainbow Falls, and world class beaches. This is most certainly our home away from home and I never wanted to leave to go back to London. The kitchen is spacious like the rest of the home and simply has everything. We were able to watch a school of Dolphins, and see whales breaching from the outside lanai while either relaxing on the lounge chairs or dining at the deck table after cooking on the great BBQ that is there. We had FREE long distance telephone and FREE internet which is unheard of anywhere we have stayed before, so it was a treat to speak to all our friends and family in the States without thinking about the cost. This home is one of a kind and gave us the comforting feeling of being at home and at total peace. It allowed us to see and experience the wonders of this tropical paradise and to have all the comforts of an expensive and extremely well kept home. We plan on sending our parents here for their 50th Anniversary and we know that they will fall in love with this home as much as we have, and at the same time we will be assured that they will be safe and that they will experience the quality that one comes to expect from such beautiful surroundings and upscale neighborhoods. We were most fortunate to be able to book accommodations at this beautiful home and to have the feeling of having family or being family to people like those who own this home. They term that they used for us was " Ohana " which is the Hawaiian word for family, and the courtesy that we received and the helpfulness that we were provided with was such that only comes from family. We are coming back again and again regardless of the long hours it takes from Heathrow Airport to Kona Airport. This home and this feeling of home is well worth the long plane flights. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants excellent accommodations and the satisfaction that comes with the memories and experiences of the best vacation ever.

Incredible Honeymoon Accommodations

Stu and Liz New York, New York
Review Submitted: February 8, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2008
This was our 2nd stay here. This beautiful home made our Honeymoon unforgetable. We will come back year after year to relive our wonderful experience. It's truly Opulent, in furnishings or marble thresholds into the bathrooms, imported master bedroom tile. The interior design is incredibly ornate, and obviously hand done. The artworks appear to be originals.I just know angels watch over this home. The ocean views inside the home or from the lanai's going around the home are spectacular. The French window doors allow for incredible ocean views, wonderful lighting,an air flow that keeps the home very cool and breezy even for our summer stay. There are vaulted ceilings and plenty of fans It was also cool when we stayed here for The IronMan Triathelon last October. WOW =Breath Taking Sunsets. From the huge deck we watched whales breaching, schools of Dolphins, boats, one man paddlers, and countless racing canoes competing in the Liliokalani Outrigger Canoe Race. The home had everything that we could want or need, spices, gas BBQ, every kitchen counter appliance we could want, and a washer/dryer. My bride forgot her hair dryer and there was one there. We needed beach gear, cooler, mats, beach towels and they were there. It has nationwide long distance phone that no one else offered us, AND wireless internet access that the hotels charge $12.95 per day to use. This home is fully stocked. The 2 person jacuzzi bath even has an ocean view, there were duel showers. The loft bedroom has an 8' x 8' skylight. We fell asleep to the stars & woke up to the morning sky.It has a new stove and dishwasher. It has a TV in the master bedroom, 1 in the main room,1 in the loft bedroom, 1 on the kitchen counter, even one in the master bath. This home is in a safe quiet, expensive neighborhood, has 2 entrances with sitting .The porch fountain has the relaxing sound of flowing water. When we walked into this home it made us sigh that sigh of relief. It Gave US That Feeling Of Being Home.We buy quality,we don't buy price. It made us both smile with a satisfaction of knowing WE PAID GREAT RATES FOR EXCELLENT QUALITY AND WE GOT IT. The home is close to everything in Kona or the Big Island from the volcano, to waterfalls, to beautiful beaches. We loved relaxing there just trying to decide which outrageous sunset was the best. We recommend this home to everyone young or old,and Justin is the greatest owner to work with. He made us feel just like we were his own Ohana (family). We really loved it!

Our Wonderful Week in Kona

Bob-100 LA, CA, USA
Review Submitted: January 28, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2008
I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at your Walua Road property and want to thank you for the recommendation. It was clean and well maintained. You gave us outstanding service. More importantly, it met our vacation needs superbly.

We found it tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. The loft bedroom’s large skylight is unique and provided a relaxing view of the stars. Breakfast on the patio with it’s sweeping view of the Kailua Harbor was a wonderful way to start the morning. Dinner in the dining room was also a pleasant experience with nice appliances and a well supplied kitchen.

We had easy access to the Kona business district, historic sites, and great beach front dining; another special treat. The roads to the Kona coffee fields, Volcanoes National Park and Hilo were also readily available giving us access to all the sights we could fit into a relaxing week.

Thank you for providing us with a very memorable stay.

Joy and Bob

Paradise

Review Submitted: January 27, 2009 Date of Stay: November 2008
Never have we felt more at home than when we stayed here during our week on the Big Island. The convenient location made it easy to go on any excursion from a few hours or for the entire day. We enjoyed making our own meals, especially breakfast, reading, taking a luxurious bath, along with the geckos, and watching the sunset each evening. A very private and quiet paradise.

Review Submitted: January 14, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
We just arrived home from our great week in Hawaii. We wanted to say thanks and tell you how much we enjoyed staying in your nice home. It's such a beautiful area and the ocean views from the house are fantastic. The home was clean and well equipped. Thanks for providing the boogie boards and beach chairs too. We enjoyed whale watching, snorkeling, Volcano Nat''l Park, boogie boarding at Hapuna Beach, and so many other things the Big Island has to offer. Thanks again!
