House is very clean, spacious and well-maintained. The owners have provided all the basics, plus thoughtful extras to ensure maximum convenience and comfort, like books and games, a variety of kitchen utensils, a charming (and warming!) wood stove, and washer/drier. Beds in the bedrooms are extremely comfy; the sofa bed is not as plush, but serviceable. The floor plan of the house emphasizes privacy for the bedrooms and socializing the common area. We had all we could need or want for a relaxing week.

The views are *incredible*, especially the ocean view while relaxing in the large hot tub or sitting on one of the two patios! The house is SO close to the beach and the shoreline hiking trails are well-maintained, so it's easy to go exploring, if you aren't curled up on the couch enjoying the view from under a cozy blanket. Keep a look out for sea lions, birds, and your favorite constellations! We had great experiences with community amenities, too- lap swimming and yoga class. The residents and staff were very welcoming, not at all biased against "renters".

My experience was unlike staying in a hotel or typical rental house, it's more like staying at the guesthouse of a very tidy, hospitable friend. I can't wait to go back, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to friends.
