My husband and I and our 4 daughters stayed here for 3 weeks. We had the best vacation and can't wait to come back to Kauai. The house is a 90 second drive to one of the best beaches in Kauai, where we spent alot of our time. We snorkled, stand up paddled, surfed and boogie boarded all at this beach. The house was very clean, we used the washer and dryer downstairs alot. Everything you need for the beach is in the closet; chairs, umbrella, cooler etc. Lanae was so helpful and nice. When we lost our car key she even picked up the spare for us and brought it home. Thanks Lanae for everything, we are hooked on Kauai!!!

Our third stay here! On this visit my husband and I brought 2 of our daughters for their Spring Break. They had a marvelous time, especially snorkeling. What a wonderful way to refresh, renew, regroup. The house is accurately described - very clean and peaceful with locale close to beach and shops. Hostess lovely and what more can I say?! Am hoping to come back soon!

Everything was very clean and well kept. Location is perfect, about a 10 min walk to the beach, just far enough to escape the touristy hubbub. Unit was nice and quiet. Lanae (the owner) is full of the aloha spirit and made our stay delightful. We consider her a friend now! We have visited this area on four occasions, and find this to be the best. We will be back for sure!!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Poipu Breeze, and would love to come back someday. We loved how it was up the road from the beaches...just far enough to walk, but not too close to all the hub-bub. The Poipu Breeze was quite a bargain, as there were several boogie boards, etc. that were available for us to use at the beach, a washer and dryer, and BBQ. Lanae was so sweet to pre-purchase some grocery items for us, as we were arriving late at night...that was very thoughtful of her to do. Thank you Lanae and Steve for a wonderful stay at your guesthouse!

Stayed at this rental property for four nights, thought it was really good. In general, it was as advertised. It's about three-quarters of a mile from the nearest beach, so about a 15-minute walk. It has easy access to shops, the Poipu harbor, and restaurants (best restaurant was Josselin's Tapas). Also, Poipu is kind of at a mid-point of the island, so to speak, so it was easy for us to make excursions to all parts of Kaua'i. (Technically, this place is in Koloa, right on the border of Poipu.)

You can just barely see the ocean from the landing outside. Lots of trees and flowers in the back yard and on the street, many birds calling. Roosters may wake you up at dawn, but it's like that all over the island.

The neighborhood you drive through to get to the rental property's street looks kind of run down, but the street the property is on is nice. Seemed like a safe area, we had absolutely no problems.

The home is big with two master bedrooms (two queen beds total), well-appointed in general as shown in the pictures, and very clean. They provided towels, beach gear, dishes, cookware, etc.

Would have liked to have had the following:

Cooking knives sharpened
Air conditioning (although it cools down easily at night with the windows open)
Garbage disposal in the sink
Dishwasher
Hand soap in both bathrooms
Stronger internet signal
Laundry soap provided
Smaller kitchen chairs around the table so they aren't in the way when cooking

The owner was very friendly and easy to arrange with. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

Great location...perfect for family gathering or friends getaway...flight of stairs may hinder elderly or those with disabilities...celebrated a wedding on Kauai...owners very helpful and easy to work with...clean and tidy rental...we totally recommend this lovely property...

The home exceeded our expectations! It was in a quiet neighborhood. We keep our own home very neat and clean, and this one was much cleaner than my own home! The full kitchen enabled us to cook the majority of our meals, so we only dined out one meal a day. After staying here, I would never stay in a hotel on Kauai again. Plus, the price for our week's stay was substantially less than getting a much smaller accommodation at a local hotel. It was fun to be able to use the gas barbecue to cook dinner one evening outside. My favorite beach is very close, probably within a 5 minute drive. Gillins beach is a secluded beach. Wonderful for just hanging out or walking. We purchased a Costco membership card and did the majority of our shopping there for our food. We have two teenage sons and there was plenty of room for all of us.
