Wonderful vacation spot!

Review Submitted: October 12, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
My husband and I just returned , on 10 Oct 09, from a one-week stay at the Beach House along with his parents and we all had a wonderful time.

The house was absolutely beautiful - sparkling clean, spacious, fully equipped with everything we needed - and the views were breathtaking. We took several long walks on the beach, which was easily accessible, and spent time relaxing on the deck with a good book.

And the location was ideal. We made several trips to historic Plymouth, which was very close by and offered many nice shops, good places to eat and opportunities to go whale-watching, and we also made easy day trips to both Boston and Salem.

I really have nothing but great things to say about the place and about our very accommodating host. Steve was so great to deal with before, during and after our stay and did everything necessary to make sure our visit was enjoyable and stress-free.

There is a very good chance we'll be booking the Beach House again some day and we will definitely recommend it to all our friends who might be interested in vacationing in the region

Great Vacation

Rick & Family Western Mass.
Review Submitted: July 21, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
This is a very clean, well cared for, and appointed home. Views are spectacular. The owner makes aure that everything you could possibly need for a carefree vacation is provided for. The welcome bottle of wine is just over the top and in my past travels never thought of.

The whole experience was pleasurable from the booking till the last day. The only part that didn't fit that billing was leaving!!!!

They really want to make sure everything is fine even by placing a telephone call to check on you while you are there.

Can't say enough good about the location, accomodations, and their true concern that you experience a great vacation.

Thank you very much !!!

The house was beautiful and on the days that it didn't rain the water was crystal clear. The beach access point is only a few houses down.

The view from the top story of the house is awesome...would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous

Review Submitted: June 2, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
I would highly recommend this property to friends, family or anyone. It was well maintained and clean, and easy to keep that way. There was plenty of storage space, including a great fridge, and interesting robust furnishings. No single beds but our children were able to share a double with no problems.
A short walk to a private beach was great for the children as was being able to see birds, butterflies, squirrels and even baby rabbits around the property. Neighbours were very friendly. We felt very comfortable.
We all loved being able to watch the waves break on the beach as we ate breakfast on the upper decking. The pictures really do not do the view justice.
Any questions I had before flying over were answered promptly. There was plenty of information in the house about local restaurents and sights. We particularly enjoyed the East Bay Grill in Plymouth, as well as Monte Cristo's in Manomet.
The propety was an easy drive from Logan airport, and we had a number of days out to Plymouth and Provincetown, amoung other places. Plymouth Plantation was an interesting day out.
The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and there was a welcome botle of wine to ease us in! Everything we needed was easy to find and use.
The week began with a thunderstorm over Cape Cod that I watched in all its glory, and on our final morning I watched the sun rise over the bay. Fabulous. We are looking into going again next year - for longer!

My husband and I were only able to spend 3 nights here last month and were not ready to leave this beautiful home! The ocean view was incredible and the sound of the waves hitting the shore was very soothing, particularly, at night. The house was clean and included linens. The owner, Steve, was very gracious and available. We have been vacationing in the cape for 17 years and like to try new beach houses. I think we've found a keeper!

Simply the Best!

Happily Married Now Pembroke, MA, USA
Review Submitted: January 15, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2008
My husband and our 2 year old son vacationed in this spectacular home last summer and it was the best experience I have had at the beach. The home is beautiful and clean and has everything you need to enjoy a week at the beach. Because the beach is private ensures no overcrowding or trash or disrespect. The owners from the minute we said we were interested in viewing their home to after check out were so accommodating and genuine. We had a very special week. Thank you again from Roy, Erica and Brennan!

Wonderful Beach Vacation

Very Happy Renter Western MA
Review Submitted: August 11, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
We spent a week in August 2008 at this wonderful beach house as a family of 5. I don't think I can add much to the other reveiws, but I can confirm that it is a wonderful house in an unbeatable location. The views of the ocean are incredible. The house was clean and well appointed - including sheets, towels, and beach towles, which proves to be a nice convenience. The owners were friendly and accomadating. Thank you!

spectacular setting

Beachdreamer Oak Park, IL
Review Submitted: July 22, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
My family of 4 enjoyed a fantastic vacation at this beach house in July. The best part about it was the spectacular setting--I could have sat at the table and looked out at the panoramic view of the ocean all day. I am a native of Massachusetts (and have lived both on the north shore and the south shore) and I had no idea that such a place existed--the white sandy beach had almost no one on it during the July week that we were there, which is unbelievable for that time of year in MA. The beach was heavenly--the gentle waves were easy to navigate for my water-phobic 9-year old and to my amazement he enthusiastically tried to teach himself to swim. The water was freezing (which is normal for MA)--but diving in felt incredibly refreshing on the 90 degree days. And on our last day the water was surprisingly warm and I swam in it for an hour, thinking "there is nowhere else I would rather be at this moment."

The house itself was comfortable, well maintained, clean and nicely furnished--although midweek it got unbearably hot. There are many fans in the house, but no air conditioning, so it was hard to get relief--there just weren't any cool sea breezes that day. The downstairs accommodations were much cooler than upstairs--so if you plan to stay there in July or August you might want to claim the downstairs bedroom. Otherwise, the house had everything we needed. We appreciated the abundant supply of beach and bath towels. Neighbors we met were very friendly and welcoming, and all our communications with owner Steve were very positive--he was responsive and eager to make sure we were comfortable.

There are lots of sites in the area to see--but we've seen them all (since we lived there) so we didn't venture out much. Frankly, it was hard to leave the idyllic setting! But, we did go to Fenway Park and watch the Red Sox crush the Twins 18-5...a very memorable (though hot) day.

One thing to be aware of is that there is no direct beach access from the house--to get to the beach you need to walk down the road (not far) and go down a very long staircase. If you're young and strong this is not going to be an issue. For me it was difficult to get down those stairs (I have mobility issues and walk with a leg brace) but totally worth it once my feet hit the sand.

We had a fantastic vacation there and will definitely try to get back there next summer.

This home offers many wonderful ammenities. The view of the bay (Atlantic Ocean) is fabulous and the beach is wonderful for walking and sitting. We spent most of time just looking and hearing the ocean. I would reccomend this home for anyone looking for a beach get away either alone or with family. There is plenty of room and it is nicely furnished. I hope to return.. The local area has many nice restaurants.

Awesome sunrise

kynch Littleton MA
Review Submitted: May 6, 2008 Date of Stay: April 2008
This was one remarkable experience. The sunrise was breath taking. The first thing I noticed when I arrived was how clean the house was. This appealed to my delicate senses. My cats stayed in the inlaw appartment so I got to take my beloved pets and get away from them at the same time. They were content to watch the sea gulls as was I. I can't wait to get away to this awesome find soon.
