Marco Vacation Bridgewater NJ
Review Submitted: December 18, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
We were very happy with our choice of this home for our stay in Marco Island. The location, layout and amenities were just as they were as stated in the on-line advertisement. House was just lovely; plenty of room, and furnished beautifully. Our granddaughter enjoyed the pool immensely as did we. Enjoyed fishing off the dock. We also got to see Dolphins passing by. We rented a fishing boat a few times which again was enjoyed by all. Husband did morning bike ride every day! Also got to see burrowing owls (endangered species). We took a day boat trip to Key West which we would recommend to others. Restaurants and Clubs were close by and again enjoyed by all. We certainly would recommend this home to others.

Exceeding Expectations

Review Submitted: November 3, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
Our Marco Island Memories started as soon as we walked thru the front door...the view to the pool and waterway let us know immediately,we were on vacation!!! The best part was everyone had their own room and bath..the Master Suite was calming, the Master
Bath was unbelieveable!!!! The walk thru shower and the tub that fills from the ceiling..what luxury!! The retreat upstairs gave my grandsons a place away from adults to play their games, when they weren't swimming in the pool

Enjoyed the shopping in Naples and on the Island...Dining was never a disappointment...Ne Ne's for breakfast or lunch..Riverwalk in Naples for a sunset dinner, while watching the dolphins swim by..Joey's Pizzeria had awesome pizza plus atmosphere..Arturro's for authentic Italian dining..delicious.,

The Naples Zoo,though small, was an enjoyable experience with the
monkey boat ride..Highly recommend the zoo..You must experience the sunset crusie thru Naples Bay to the Gulf.

This vacation home exceeded my expectations.,,complete relaxation
quite neighborhood...I give this vacation home 10 stars!!! I look foward to using this home in the spring...Elsie

FUN FOR ALL AGES!

Review Submitted: July 10, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
Our family had a blast at this Marco Island home! The homeowners were very professional, providing us with a well written lease agreement right away and very useful information about the area. Finding and gaining access to the home was no problem. When we entered the house it was clean, spacious and well appointed. When we went outside to checkout the grounds, Dolphins were playing off the end of the dock!! What a greeting!!

The Grandparents loved the master bed / bath and we really enjoyed the upstairs 'suite.' Our daughter slept well in her own room and never had to share her bath! (What a treat!) Everyone enjoyed fishing off the dock--We must have caught about 15 fish over the week! The highlight of our stay was a 1/2 hour visit by a manatee who stopped to drink from the fresh water tap on the fish-cleaning station. Who needs Sea World!?

Although the public beach was beautiful, the pool and hot tub were so much fun that we only made a few trips. For those who enjoy walking, there are a few shopping centers within a mile that have great restaurants and supermarkets. The only time a walk didn't seem sensible was mid-day when temperatures were high. Getting to the beach on foot is more of a challenge, especially if you intend to bring any gear.

We would have given the property a '5' but there was an issue with smoke detector batteries that caused the alarms to go off in the middle of the night, and the previous tenant had damaged some blinds in the upstairs TV room.

Other than those minor inconveniences, the place was terrific and we plan to return. For the price we would have paid for one hotel room on the beach, we had our own personal, private resort!!

The house allowed for 'one floor living' so those traveling with someone who is disabled would be happy as long as they could navigate the entrance and transitions between house and lanai. The pool alarm and security system made us feel very secure, even with a 5 year old on the premises.

Thanks to Michelle and George for a great vacation!!

Marco Memories 2008

Review Submitted: September 29, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
All of the house and amenities were exactly as described in the advertisement for this home. This is our family's 5th visit to the area for vacation. The home is beautifully maintained. The pool is very nice; sound system is great; the dock for fishing or sunning was excellent as well. Great layout for kids -- ours are older 16 and 19 - and adults. We all had our own private space or lots of shared common areas for family fun. The house is also in one of the better locations on this small island -- within walking/running distance to the market areas, but very quiet along the waterway. We would definitely go back!

This home makes for a perfect family vacation. There’s plenty of room for everyone (even my large family of 6 adults & 1 teen) to comfortably gather together or to find a quite spot to relax. It is superbly equipped for a luxurious holiday. From upscale pool and spa, to the well equipped kitchen, and large screen TV’s, no one could wish for more. The guys pulled catfish and a few other species from the canal non-stop. We loved our sunset Jacuzzi times with the enchanting changing color lights and soothing bubbles. Beaches, shopping and fine restaurants are very close by, as are sightseeing and charter fishing boats. Marco Island is just beautiful, and staying in this home was the icing on the cake.
