Excellent place to stay. Nice accomodations and very well appointed. Garage is a little small, don't plan on parking a full size truck in it.

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. The house is close to all the Pagosa Springs area has to offer and is perfect for a family or two couples. We loved the cozy living room and enjoyed our evenings out on the deck. Would strongly recommend this clean, attractive house to anyone.

We would highly recommend this vacation rental. It was so clean and the owners provided everything you could possibly need or want for your stay. The kitchen had all the conveniences you could want and it even had nice heavy cookware. Everything about the rental made it seem like the owners home not just an afterthought!! The views were just awesome. The beds and the furniture were very comfortable and definitely above average. The owners were very helpful in answering any questions we had and were always very gracious. Needless to say,we loved this place!!

Memories Made

Review Submitted: August 19, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
The details in this house made it truly a home for us! For instance, there were toothbrush holders and plenty of fresh, fluffy towels. There was even an ice chest for the guys to use when they went fishing. (Don't worry, I bleached it afterwards) There was plenty of literature on things to do and places to eat. The owners included a few pages of instructions for the house and personal reccomendations. There were coat hangers in the closets and lots of empty drawers. The furniture is high quality but informal so we didn't feel like we were going to mess up something. The deck is huge and we made good use of it. Our 3 year old played out there all week, and the adults spent every evening out there having a drink and stargazing. The yard has plenty of room to run around and play. The neighborhood is nice, but not so upscale that we felt uncomfortable. I enjoyed having Direct TV in the living room as well as the master bedroom so that our daughter could watch cartoons and we weren't forced to endure them.
The owners did everything possible to make our visit relaxing and easy. Bottom line: we'll stay here next year because we loved it!

Great Rental Home in Pagosa Springs, CO

Gene and Dianna San Antonio, Texas
Review Submitted: July 1, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We rented this home in early June of 2009. It was exactly as advertised, very clean, well-maintained, and in a very nice subdivision about 3 miles north of Highway 160 in Pagosa Springs. In addition, there are great views of the mountains from the home.

Setting-up the rental was very easy, and whenever we had a question about the property the owner responded to our e-mail inquiries within a couple of hours.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this home. Thus, we would recommend it to friends with great enthusiasm. Moreover, we will rent the home again next year.

Great getaway

V.B. Tampa, FL
Review Submitted: June 2, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
This home made our vacation seem effortless! It had ALL the comforts of home (especially comfy beds and nice linens) and was clean as a whistle. The spacious rooms and bathrooms were perfect for families or small groups who want to enjoy all that Pagosa Springs has to offer. The large front porch enabled us to share the great Colorado views and quiet neighborhood setting-a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of exploring or hiking!

Lots of places to eat (with some good live music!) and great outdoor adventures are within a few minutes drive from the property. Pagosa Springs is a dream!

We'll be back to stay here again for sure!

Perfect Getaway

BoulderLion Boulder, CO
Review Submitted: April 15, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
The Pagosa Springs area is an awesome getaway destination and we loved this particular house to experience it.

The house is big and roomy, and the floor plan is extremely well laid out. With its southern exposure and floor to ceiling windows in the living room, a feeling of "lightness" pours into the house making it a very comfortable place to relax and unwind. The kitchen is well equipped, convenient and inviting with its adjoining eating spaces. The bedrooms are spacious (especially the master suite) and the beds are extremely comfortable, and the bedding is new. We always enjoy sleeping spaces where the bedding doesn't feel worn out or second hand, and this house does not suffer from that. Finally, the views from deck provides a wonderful spot to enjoy a sunset or the mountain views.

Overall, the house is well appointed and spotless in cleaning and maintenance. It was almost like walking into a "Parade of Homes" house, and yet, it retains a "homey" and "get away" feel to it. Its not like you don't dare to put your feet up on the coffee table and relax. It's intimate and cozy without being crowded and crammed. Like I wrote above, it is a beautiful house that is warm and inviting, but without being either "stuffy" or run-down. If I was seeking to buy a vacation house, this house would be the template for what I would look to purchase.

The location of the house is nestled in a getaway development, so the houses are not stacked on top of one another. There is a sense of space and privacy without feeling isolated. It is also conveniently located near a new shopping center that has all the necessities (huge grocery store, restaurants, etc) that change a "simple vacation" into "cherished memories."

The property owners were very welcoming and supportive before, during and after our stay. They were incredibly responsive in their communications to us. While we were staying at this house, I texted a question to them late at night, not expecting a response until the next day. So I was surprised (and pleased) when I had an answer in less than 10 minutes. In my experience, that kind of attention and responsiveness is critical to the quality of any rental stay.
