HUGE $500,000 reno -hot tub Ski in/out location Whistler British Columbia Canada

We are undergoing a massive $500,000 renovation to be reader for Dec. 2013. Less than 100 steps from the front door is the Village Run, which leads directly to both the Whistler Gondola and Fitzimmon's Express Quad and the Blackcomb Excalibur Gondola as well as the international restaurants and shopping in Whistler Village. This newly renovated townhouse contains 4 bedrooms each with LCD TV/DVD combos and 3.5 bathrooms in approximately 1850 square feet through-out 3 newly carpeted and painted floors.

The top floor contains the master bedroom which has a king-size bed and 25' cable TV with DVD/VCR with an en-suite bathroom containing a whirlpool tub/shower. Located on the main floor are the dining area and family room which contain beautiful 25 feet vaulted ceilings. The dining area has seating for 8 at the table and 2 at the bar. The family room contains comfortable leather couches, a wood burning fireplace made of stone, and a 40' Plasma Cable TV with DVD/VCR and CD stereo system featuring a 5 speaker plus subwoofer surround sound system.

Off the main floor is a private balcony with views of the mountains where a private out-door hot-tub will be installed for September 2003. Also on the main floor is the kitchen with oven/stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The dining area, family room, and kitchen all have views of the garden and surrounding mountains through spacious picture windows. Also located on the main floor is a powder room and access to the connected single car garage.

The lower floor contains 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Bedroom #2 contains a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Bedroom #3 can sleep 4 people either in 2 single beds and 1 set of adult bunk beds or in 2 sets of adult bunk beds. Bedroom #4 has one double bed with a single bed on top. Bedroom #3 and #4 share a full bathroom with tub and shower. The laundry washer/dryer is also located on the lower floor.

Location is fantastic for ski in and out. House was clean and well maintained. I would recommend this property, however, I would avoid paying the damage deposit in advance, as we did. This proved to be a hassle in reclaiming the monies which is the only detraction from a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
