This award winning coastal living home is completely renovated and a short walk to the bay and Skaket Beach. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, CENTRAL AIR, a new GOURMET KITCHEN with top of the line ss appliances (including ALL CLAD COOKWARE) and granite countertops. The Master Suite (1 Q) has its own new private bath complete with a 5' glass enclosed shower. This cottage has vaulted ceilings and decorated with all new high quality furnishings in a relaxed coastal feel, hardwood floors throughout and an open living room/eat in kitchen with a new flat screen TV, expanded cable, dvd and high speed wireless internet. Bedroom 2 (1 Q) and Bedroom 3 (2 twins) share a second full bath with tub. In addition, a 3 SEASON SUNPORCH off of the kitchen looks out onto the beautiful backyard! There is a large wood deck with patio furniture, umbrella and a stone patio below that is equipped with a gas grill. A new private outdoor h/c shower is perfect for rinsing off after enjoying time at Skaket Beach on the bay! Also the basement has a FINISHED game room with PING PONG for a family duel!

Beaches in Orleans!: At the town of Orleans on Cape Cod enjoy both Cape Cod Bay Beach and Nauset Beach!

Skaket Beach, just down the street from the cottage, is a family beach with warmer waters on Cape Cod Bay. Enjoy swimming, walking, shell collecting, sun bathing, kayaking, and the most incredible sunsets!! Here you can explore the tidal flats and during low tide, pools of sea creatures are exposed. A short stroll up the beach is a snack shop and restroom facilities and lifeguards. NO NEED FOR A PARKING STICKER BEING SUCH A SHORT WALK TO THIS WHITE SANDY BEACH.

Nauset Beach is on the Atlantic Ocean side of Orleans, better known as wave beach. A short 10 minute drive from the cottage. This beach has lifeguards, a clam shack and restroom facilities. Here you can watch the sunrise over the ocean! The National Seashore begins at Nauset Beach and extends out towards Provincetown.

Other things our children enjoyed doing on the Cape were the go carts, the trampolines, miniature golf, bowling, whale watching, fishing, and of course the penny candy stores. A great family vacation spot.

A Note We Received From A Guest: 'IN ALL HONESTY THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH WORDS TO CONVEY WHAT AN INCREDIBLE TIME WE HAD THIS WEEK. Thanks for the opportunity to share your home! We have been coming to the Cape for several years. The houses that we've stayed at have been fine but felt impersonal, furnished from the Christmas Tree Shops and lacking real warmth. They said they were an easy walk to the beach but that was not the case. AS SOON AS WE OPENED THE FRONT DOOR, WE KNEW WE WERE HOME. This home is magazine stunning with everything TOP OF THE LINE (I just wish my own home had some of your amenities: great cookware, open floorplan, all new beautiful furnishings, and my favorite, the sunroom. It was my idea of heaven!) And of course the CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING ON THE CAPE IS A MUST IN THE HOT SUMMER MONTHS. The location also is unbeatable! Thank you again for our vacation. it was just wonderful!. I only wish I could call this home my own and never leave!

"Words can't possibly describe how much we have loved staying in your home this past week. It was the most perfect place and we are in awe of how beautiful and meticulously fantastic the home and everything in it is. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had everything we could possibly need or ask for! We have so appreciated the pristine condition of this home- it is so calming to wake up to- and come home to after a day at the beach. Thanks again. See you next year."

A Five Star Rental Cottage!!!

What an amazing vacation! The only thing we wished for is that we were the owners of this spectacular cottage!! We have been coming to the cape for years, but this home compares to no others. This location is perfect, close to a great assortment of restaurants, an amazing beach just steps away, a wide range of activities(many wonderful for families), close to some of the best Cape shops, but most of all the house is comparable to accommodations ranking five star, complete with all of its contents being the best of the best. No cutting back here! From the moment you drive up and see the house with its beautifully landscaped yard, to opening the front door, it is like a home featured in a magazine. Wow! The owners have really outdone themselves and also are easily reachable for any questions one might have.
Thank you for creating this truly relaxing vacation for our family, see you next summer!

This property was spotless and inviting! Everything in the house was top shelf and comfortable. It is in a quiet, seemingly out of the way neighborhood, yet there are plenty of restaurants and activities nearby. Bike rentals and walking trails are close by as well as Skaket Beach which is a short walk away. I would definitely recommend this property.

This Cape house is perfect. The house itself is clean, uncluttered, and easy to maintain. It has all of the amenities/updates you could want, and is charming and welcoming to kids and adults. We enjoyed the beautiful yard, great for evening games of wiffle ball, used the outdoor shower after days at Skaket Beach, and thoroughly enjoyed the quality of everything in this comfortable, well-equipped home.

Located a short walk away from Skaket Beach (a FANTASTIC beach for families; my 9, 7, and 5 year-old love low tide, as you can walk out for a mile searching for hermit crabs and other sea life.), the house is also just around the corner from the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and a mile away from the Orleans Firebirds’ field. The Rail Trail is great for bike rides; riding to Arnold’s (about 5-6 miles) for seafood and mini-golf is always on our to-do list, as is taking in a Cape League game or two. This year we also chartered a fishing boat out of Rock Harbor, a few minutes away, which was such a treat, as the Bay is calm and the bluefish bite!

The owners are attentive and helpful, and respond immediately to any questions you might have. In short, it really doesn’t get any better than this!

Beautiful house, Excellent Location

We had a great vacation. This house is beautiful and the beach is fantastic! The kids loved the beach and they loved the walk to it. My 2 year olds were able to walk there themselves and thought they were big kids! We can’t think of anything that we would add or change. It had everything we needed and more. The week was so hot and humid the central air was perfect.

We went to the beach everyday and let the kids stay up one night for sunset which was beautiful. The outside shower was great to clean off after the beach. The house is very child friendly which is important having 2 year old twins and a 4 year old. The kids loved it so much that on the day we were leaving my 4 year old said he wasn't ready to leave yet. He wanted to stay a few more days!

The house was also immaculate!!

The vacation was perfect! We had a great time and thank you for renting your home to us!!

Tucked away on a quiet street in Orleans, MA is THE perfect house for your next Cape vacation. Recently renovated, this home offers all the amenities you look for but rarely find in a rental: central air, hi-speed internet, top-end appliances/cookware and it's spotlessly clean! There are so many great things about staying in Orleans (the warm, calm Skaket Beach perfect for younger kids, great boogie board waves at Nauset Beach, the best in Cape Cod baseball, shopping and more!) and this house tops the list.
