Great comfortable Getaway Home
This is a great, comfortable getaway home. The best features for us were the game room, the sun room, and the fire pit by the brook! We really enjoyed the house and would recommend it to others.
Just two items for consideration...the kitchen was not very well stocked with cookware or cutlery, so we struggled a bit with that as we cooked frequently through the week. Also, the Saturday check-in/ check-out was disruptive for us as it didn't allow you to spend a complete weekend at the house -- Friday would worked much better.

Nice house
We stayed in this house with 8 people which is the max, we had four childern ages 9-12 the basement was a great spot for them to all hang out and have fun. The house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It's clean and looks just like the pictures:) It is close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay in this area.
Cons: The only bed that is comfortable is the master bed, it is on a fairly busy road, there is not a common bath upstairs so you have to use master at night or if someone is showering downstairs. The roll away bed needs to be thrown out don't count on it for sleeping on. The upstairs fridge took three days to get cold enough for food we had to use downstairs fridge for food. The WIFI is from a satellite and slow would be an understatement.
Area: The beach that is close is very small we went to lake George for the beach, Six flags was a huge disappointment and not worth the trip of going, Funspot was the kids favorite, Bolton Landing was a great day trip, Boat cruise on the Minnie Ha Ha was relaxing and a great way to see the area. Mollies Mason jar on 9N was great food and awesome cinnamon rolls!

Owner's Response: The owner provides a very comfortable home. The home does sit back off the road and provides a large private yard on both sides and in the back. The brook that surrounds the property has been one of the tenants favorite spots to sit by. We've had numerous tenants totally enjoy the home and the area in the last 3 years since it was made available to rent. Many have returned since.
We were not made aware of the refrigerator and do ask in our house book that any of those such items should be brought to our attention. In the comment book, it was never mentioned either.
The beds are newer mattresses and this is the first complaint we've had regarding this.
WIFI is a sattelite internet service. Unfortunately, this house is in a small remote location of the Adirondacks that the owners can't have high speed internet service. They have checked on several occasions and have been told by those services that their company can't provide the service.
We strive to make our tenants have a comfortable stay. We do ask that if there is something that needs to be brought to our attention to call our office and we will try our best to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, this tenant's expectations were not met by some of the things offered at the home or the immediate area.

Bachelor Party Weekend
Just got back from spending the weekend rafting and relaxing in Lake George/Luzerne. This house was amazing! Very clean and came with everything one could ever need in the kitchen. The camp fire came stocked with wood and the only thing we had to do was enjoy it. This house is located close to town and was the highlight of our weekend. A land line is provided which makes life very nice as cell phone coverage was spotty throughout the entire area. The house's front deck made the perfect area to eat/relax/and just hang out. The price was very affordable and our weekend was something none of us will ever forget!

A luxurious country getaway
My son and I spent a week of male-bonding time here and it was the ideal location. There was plenty to do in the area -- the horse track at Saratoga, exploring Glens Falls and Lake George, golf, hiking and biking. But some of our favorite times were spent right at the house. From relaxing on the deck next to the babbling brook, to exploring the woods behind the house, to barbecuing on the gas grill...it was the perfect home away from home. But what really hooked us in were the nightly pool games while listening to classic rock tunes on the jukebox in the "man cave" downstairs. This was a wonderful vacation spot and we will certainly be back again!

A Great Vacation
We are happy that we found this house. It rained a few days so it was great to have the game room. The house was everything that the picture and description said it was. It was very clean and would recommed this to anyone who is looking to get away and would like some peace and quiet. Great location and great house.

Cozy, clean and beautiful
When we arrived we found it neat as a pin. The setting of the house is nice, especially with the babbling brook around two sides of the house. We went in December, so we didn't get to enjoy the yard other than look out the windows at it. However, we did sit in the hot tub! The house is very cozy. The fireplace in the living room was nice. The sun room was our favorite spot to sit and read. The upstairs bedrooms are spacious, especially the master bedroom and bathroom. The game room downstairs was very nice. We played pool and tried out the slot machine. Everything is new and in good condition. I would highly recommend this for a family get away (especially with older children), or for adults who want to get away from it all. The purpose of our trip was "R&R", so we didn't take advantage of the outdoor activities around the area. The only downside was not having cell service, but we put call forwarding on our cell phones so our calls would be sent to the house phone. We were close to Lake George and spent a day shopping at the outlets there. We also went to Oscar's Smoke House in Warrensburg...great selection of meat. We had a very relaxing stay. One more "plus"... the property manager was very pleasant,efficient and helpful. I would definitely rent this house again.
