Perfect. My girlfriend and I met with out kids of various ages in San Diego. When we arrived we couldn't have been more pleased. The beach location is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. And well within range of many local attractions.

The apartment is spacious and has everything you could possibly need for a week at the beach.

Greg and Jennifer were very responsive. When we inquired about a crib/pack and play.. It was at the door within a couple of hours, with a mattress pad and clean sheets.

The condo was spotless and felt well cared for.

I have stayed at many home away rentals, this was one of the best!!!

I highly recommend it and would easily chose to stay here again.

We would highly recommend Greg and Jennifer's condo and Imperial Beach to anyone looking for a beautiful condo, right on an uncrowded beach. The condo was beautifully appointed, comfortable and clean. We made good use of the bikes and our son-in-law did brave using the boogie board.

We were really happy to find farmers markets--one right down the street. We bought fresh fish there and tried shark and squid fixed by our daughter, the caterer. Awesome! Enjoyed the neighborhood sports bar, 2 blocks down the road. Celebrated our 50th anniversary at the French "Farm House Cafe" (exellent). Had a fantastic Sunday breakfast at The Tractor Room.

We enjoyed the Stone Brewery, both the tour and our dinner. Well worth the drive! Drove to LaJolla to see the seals, truly close-up. We were able to see the newest panda at the San Diego Zoo. Two of us toured the U.S.S. Midway.

But, for all the action, we really enjoyed kicking back and watching the sunsets from the deck, listening to the wave action from bed at night, walking the beach, and just spending time in the condo.

I would stay here again without hesitation. We intended to stay 4 nights and ended up extending to 7 nights-- still wanting more. The owner/manager is kind and patient. We had some money transfer challenges since I was out of the U.S. during the time when payment was due. Because they do prefer noncredit payment, this added to the complexity of the negotiation. Everything worked out fine and our security deposit was returned promptly.

The location is wonderful, at the southwestern most edge of the U.S. The ocean is magnificent and the beach sparsely populated, especially if you walk south. About a mile to the south is where the Tijuana River empties into the ocean. It is a wild place with lots birds and tide pools. To the north is the Imperial Beach Pier. More than worth the stroll. Walk to the end and have lunch or breakfast at the Tin Fish. Or watch the surfers crashing about in the waves.

The rental is in a multi-unit building (4-5 total units, not sure how many) with extreme close-in beach front. There are two small and secure parking spaces underground. It is tight quarters so if you have a choice and all else is equal, rent a small car. The unit is narrow but very long so there is nice separation of space between the back bedroom/bath and the masterbdrm/bath. Four people are easily housed.

The building is not new so on outside you can see the effects of just a few years exposure to the sometimes harsh weather at the coast. Metal is especially vulnerable to the salt air. The unit’s interior is in excellent condition. The view is fab! Ah and the thought of sunset makes me tear up.

Renting this is more like staying in someone’s home rather than a unit that only sees renters. The furnishings are very nice and the kitchen is well outfitted. There are a few condiments left from previous users so check into the apt before going to the grocery store. The appliances are mostly new and very high quality. The full size washer and dryer are nice for an extended stay out of a carry-on suitcase.

Out front are gently hidden stone steps down the boulders to the beach. We were there at a high-tide weather event and the surf lapped at the edges of the boulders. The unit is first floor, so the building access is perfect, walk out the deck, into the yard, to the boulders, down to beach and water.

Greg and his wife are caring and easy to work with, in addition they communicate promptly to questions or concerns. Spectacular unit with all the comforts of home! My "fragile" mother twas able to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine due to easy access to the terrace. The move in and out of the unit was a breeze with the availability of an elevator. Best of all was the opportunity for my husband and I to host my son's wedding rehearsal dinner in this spacious and nicely decorated unit. We proudly fulfilled our role as parents of the groom in what we considered a home away from home.

We had a wonderful time during our week's stay here. The beach is beautiful and quiet. We found many big, pretty seashells right in front of the condo and our kids loved that! The weather was amazing as well! The condo is so comfortable and well kept. We would definitely recommend this condo to our friends and family. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We chose this rental for the wheelchair access, it was perfect that we could be at the beach and accommodate this need. Just as the other reviews stated, everything was well thought out...everything and more to use in the kitchen, the grill was perfect, everything was clean and comfortable. Richly decorated, felt like home on the leather sofas and big flat screen TVs in everyroom. Not the usual foottraffic along the beach or streets. Imperial Beach was a wonderful surprise, I know this will be our new place to stay (oops, I guess I shouldn't be advertising that!)- Greg was always respectful and quick w/answers during the whole process. It was so easy, too.

Stayed 2 weeks..1st week construction was being done, w/o any notification to us. Owner misrepresented access to the beach. Neighbors are directly next to you...basically share porch w/neighbor. Nothing separating the 2 porches for privacy..owner made false accusations..the property manager extremely unfriendly.owner did not refund deposit, due to microwave and oven being used and not cleand and also grill outside. the cleaning of these items is considered excessive cleaning, my cleaning fee does not cover. Not only were we inconvenienced with work being done on the condo but we were treated like 2nd class citizens by the property manager....
