Property was as described on web site and was clean, well maintained and well equipped. The owner was informative and readily available. I would recommend the property to a friend. Access to the lake and the availability of the rowboat and kayak were thoroughly enjoyed. We ate in much of the time and the barbecue and well equipped kitchen were great. Proximity to Saugatuck and Douglas offered many dining out choices.

I'm a creature of comfort. The rest of my clan (partner and two dachshunds) is more adventurous. This place was the best of both worlds for us. I got my connections with the world (TV, internet, etc.) and they got a whole lot of nature (kayaking; adjacent woods, vineyards and cornfields...with a Halloween haunted corn maze to boot). One of the weird "treats" for us was visiting the local Fennville market each night to pick out the evening's meal. We weren't exactly pioneers, but we pretended to be. Isn't that what vacation is about...living a fantasy?

Great cabin in a perfect location!

Brower Cottage was a wonderful cabin to stay at during our vacation in Saugatuck. It was in a perfect location, close to downtown Saugatuck/Douglas areas and was within easy driving distance to several wineries and Breweries. The cabin was well maintained, clean and had a beautiful view from the back of the house overlooking a lake. We especially loved being able to walk right down to the dock in the morning and relax by the water. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Great Cottage

What a great place to get away and relax with you're family. Loved the of the coziness of the cottage and it's location! The view from the dining room/living room was beautiful and we truly appreciate finding a vacation spot that is dog friendly. The dogs loved romping in the water while we relaxed out on the dock. We had a fabulous time and will highly recommend Brower Cottage.

Great View, Great Location, Great Cottage

Enjoyed our time at Brower Cottage. The description and photos are spot on except in person the property is much better. Very clean and the kitchen has everything you need and more.... Our favorite activity was sitting above the lake and enjoying the quiet during the week except for the birds and chipmunks talking to each other. A plus was "Salt of the Earth" restaurant in Fennville where we ended up eating several times. Plenty to do in the area and close to many activities...thanks to Joe for being a great host and hope to see you in the future.

Loving the Lake!

The cottage was absolutely fantastic and had breathtaking lake views to boot. Conveniently located to the adventures we choose, including Sagatauk State Park and Crane's Pie Eatery, we were absolutely in heaven for our weekend getaway. It made it all the better that we were able to bring our furry friends! We will definitely be returning.

Wonderfal Fall Get-A-Way

We loved our stay at Brower Cottage. It is rare to find a great, clean house to rent that allows pets. The cottage is so quaint, absolutely spotless and is on a super piece of property. We enjoyed the lake every morning and evening. Two swans were floating on the lake every morning. Our dogs were in Heaven fetching their tennis balls on the lake and running around. There were 6 of us and the accomodations were very comfortable. The location can't be beat. We went apple picking at Crane Orchards and shopping in Saugatuck. Not to mention, the quick drive over to Lake Michigan and the great beaches nearby. Fall is a wonderful time to visit, but with all the floats and lake toys in the boat house, it is very tempting to come back in the summer!!

We had a fantastic stay. No complaints whatsoever. We booked a last minute stay and Joe was extremely helpful in setting it up. Really good guy. The location is great. The cabin is very private and the view overlooking the lake is a pleasure to wake up to each morning. All the amenities are very clean and convenient. Plenty of things to do in the area and great places to shop and eat. The cabin is about a mile from downtown Fennville and Saugatuck/Douglas is one quick exit away. We would stay there again in a minute and very likely will.

What a wonderful property! Right on the beautiful lake. Property was clean & well maintained with a beautiful room overlooking the lake. The owner even called us the morning of our arrival to confirm everything was ready, then called again after our stay to confirm all was good. We will be staying here again!
