My husband and our 2 children stayed here in late March. We had started our trip in Hana and enjoyed it immensely. We finished the last 10 days at Royal Kahana.
The condo was perfect size for the four of us. Lots of space, fully loaded kitchen, comfy Queen bed, gorgeous view of the ocean. We loved falling asleep to the sound of waves hitting the shore. So great to be able to cook your meals and BBQ.Kitchen had everything we needed. Nice to have a washer and dryer too. Condo looks just as the web pics do. Clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable. 10 min to Lahaina, minutes to great snorkeling and beaches. The kids loved the pool.
Owners were great. Our coffee maker died a few days in. I phoned to let Joshua know and we returned that afternoon to a brand new coffee maker!

What a wonderful experience to walk in and find this amazing condo. Wonderful location, magnificent views, property clean and furnishings above average. It was like being invited into someone's very lovely home. We found that everything we needed in terms of kitchen equipment, towels, even an ice chest were there for our use, and having a small washer/dryer in the unit was very convenient. We loved watching whales at all times of the day and will definitely look to see if this condo is available the next time we travel to Maui.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo and would absolutely book it again if we got back to this part of Maui. The photos were exactly like it is and it was decorated really nicely. View from lanai was the best part of the condo and we ate all our meals at the table outside and enjoyed the ocean views and especially the sunsets. It was very well equiped and we enjoyed the bbq's and visiting with people while we were cooking our suppers. Staff at resort was exceptional and both the owners and manager were very easy and pleasant to deal with. Loved the Hula Grill and enjoyed the snorkeling at Holollua Bay and also Napili Bay Watching the turtles in front of the condo was a bonus and of course the whales are amazing. Really enjoyed our 2 week stay and I'm sure we will be back.

This was our first VRBO experience and I'm thankful that it was so wonderful. The property is exactly as it looks in the pictures and as it is described on VRBO. What a relief!!
When we got there we tried using the air conditioning but it didn't work. We contacted Ann & the next day she had someone there fixing it. She was great to deal with. She was friendly and very quick with her replies.
The property was beautiful and had everything we could want. It has a fantastic view, beautiful furniture and was very clean. We also loved having the washer and dryer. Ann even has things there you would not expect like beach towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs and even beach umbrellas. I can't say enough good things about this place.
We didn't do a lot of acctivities but we did try the Atlas Submarine ride and it was worth the $100 each that we paid. Our kids would have loved it & if we come back we'll take them. It's a nice alternative to scuba diving. Old Lahaina is a nice area if you want to shop around for local souveniers and have a nice meal overlooking the ocean.
If we come back we'll definitely contact Ann and stay at any of her properties because she really sets a high standard.

My family of 4 had a blast. A perfect location close to amazing beaches yet far enough removed from major tourism. The pool and beach right outside the condo were great for relaxing and walking. Drive 1-3 miles either north or south and you're at amazing snorkeling and boogie boarding beaches (on the more family friendly side). I also loved how convenient the condo was to the shops and restaurants. We quickly realized having talked with a number of other vacationers what an awesome value this unit was.

An absolutely gorgeous condo! Our family of 4 were extremely comfortable in this WONDERFUL unit. We have nothing negative to say about our stay here. The location was great - close to everything - shopping, snorkeling, dining. We loved the pool and the beach - we saw sea turtles everyday! I used the gym quite often and my husband ran almost every morning through the adjacent neighborhoods. The underground parking garage was perfect for the Jeep we rented for the week. The unit was immaculate and the furnishings were lovely. The kitchen was perfect - just like home. It was stocked with every appliance you would ever need. We used it mainly for breakfast and lunch but you could easily prepare a wonderful dinner or even grill out - there are several gas grills in the pool/garden area of the facility. The unit was very large and had a lot of storage space so you were never tripping over luggage. We found everything we needed already in the unit - snorkeling equipment, beach towels, beach chairs, cooler. The owner was wonderful to deal with. She was very helpful and very quick to respond to any questions we had. The staff at the Royal Kahana was a pleasure to deal with as well. They were very friendly as were the residents we talked with during our stay. We have stayed at The Royal Kahana twice before and this unit was by far the best unit we've had the pleasure to stay in. We would most definitely stay in this unit again and recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Maui. Aloha!

We loved our stay of 3 plus weeks in Kahana. The unit was clean, modern and efficient. The lani was a real treat watching whales while we drank our morning coffee. We found many restaurants in the area, a local fish market and walking paths. The staff of Royal Kahana were very friendly. We enjoyed cooking on the outdoor grills and meeting new friends. I cannot wait to return to this condo.

We (my Wife and I) stayed at this property September 5-10 2011. Was everything we expected....very clean, comfortable furniture, well appointed bathroom, recently renovated. Enjoyed breakfast every morning on the lanai overlooking the beach and ocean. One thing we especially liked was cross ventilation in the unit. Open the windows on one side of the unit in both the dining area and bathroom, open the windows in the bedroom and to the lanai...GREAT breeze through the unit. We turned on the A/C our first day upon arrival...turned it off in less than two hours and left it off the entire six days.

Ocean is 20 steps away from the pool. There are five or six gas grills around the pool which are kept clean.

Unit has all the required cooking equipment should you wish to cook which we did every day. Much less expensive than eating out at the high priced Kanapaali resorts.

Times grocery store is just down Hwy 30 (less than 5 minutes). Dont shop at Safeway in Lahaina.. DEFINITELY OVERPRICED !!!

Beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, swimming noodles (floats) and beach umbrellas all provided with the unit.

If we return to Maui, we'll be sure to stay here again...Ann the owner is a great host and very accomodating, responds quickly to emails and ensures your needs are taken care of...unit was exactly as described in both written and photo descriptions...Highly recommend !!!

Good place to stay for couples, small families (up to four people).
