My husband and I stayed at the cabin for 3 nights with our friends and their 2 kids. It was PERFECT!! Everything truly exceeded our expectations, and we had an absolutely amazing time!! The owner of the cabin was so easy to deal with -- incredibly helpful and kind -- and clearly so concerned that we enjoyed our stay. We did!! I would recommend this cabin to anyone and everyone. The pictures of the cabin are completely accurate. I can only say that our stay exceeded our expectations. We will definitely go back. You cannot hope for a better owner to rent from, or a better cabin or location to vacation in!!

what a wonderful cabin

what a wonderful winter escape. I rented this cabin so that I could meet with a realtor in regards to purchasing a home upon our retirement in the next 12-18 months. Well, we got snowed in...but no matter. It was wonderful. I had purchased birdseed in Mesa before our arrival and so glad I did, as we had many species of birds visiting. The cabin had just about everything one would need to sustain in the event of being "snowed in". I loved it so much, I just may be back in January, 2014.

Fantastic Cabin

We loved staying here! It was super clean, and had everything we needed. The area is beautiful and the cabin is secluded enough to feel like you're the only one around. Our 3 year old LOVED the jungle gym outside! That was a big plus for us (as was the pizza oven). The owner is helpful and easy to work with. We'll be back!

Perfect for a Fishing Excursion on the Rim

We had a terrific time at the cabin! The close proximity to the Mogollon Rim was exactly what we wanted - about a 12-15 minute drive to Woods Canyon Lake. It was private, quiet and relaxing. The cabin was well maintained and had all the amenities of home. We would definitely consider renting this cabin again.

Perfect Get Away in the Pines

My family and I wanted a nice little get away from the valley heat and this was a perfect choice. The cabin was beautiful and contained all the amenities which made this a great stay. We had stayed in cabins before near Payson but this was perfect since it was a couple of miles off the main highway versus traveling 15 miles on a dirt road. We really enjoyed spending time outside on the property, and the outdoor setup was ideal for barbequing and cooking breakfast in the morning. Eric was a pleasure to work with and he made sure we had a great experience. We look forward to returning to this cabin in the future. Thanks Eric.

We Keep Coming Back!!!

We have been coming to this cabin for the last several summers and every visit has been memorable.
The cabin is gorgeous and has everything you need for a home away from home. Our three kids spend endless hours exploring and rock climbing in the crystal clear creek water. We make day trips driving to the beautiful lakes at the Mogollon Rim. The week we were at the cabin this year, Phoenix hit a high of 116 as we were at scenic Willow Springs lake fishing for trout in 78 degrees! In the early evening, our kids couldn't wait to get back to the cabin to make their hotdogs and s'mores over the fire pit. A very relaxing vacation for kids and adults!!! We will be back next summer!

My family and I had an amazing time at the cabin. We wanted to get away from the city and enjoy the outdoors without all the traffic and noise. This place was perfect. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean. Eric answered all my questions and was very courteous when I spoke to him. I plan on taking my parents the next time we go. I know they would love it.

We rented the cabin in December 2011 and enjoyed every minute of it. We had everything we needed to set up a temporary home. It is decorated like a model home and is super clean and comfortable. The kitchen is especially well appointed, which made cooking a joy. The house is beautifully furnished and easy to take care of. It was great to be able to listen to the creek while out on the wrap around deck and to walk down to the creek without leaving the property. You feel like you’re the only people on the mountain. It’s so quiet and peaceful. On top of all this, the owners were easy to work with and responsive to our questions. My family truly enjoyed themselves. We fully enjoyed are stay and will be back for more relaxation in the future.

Wonderful and relaxing family long weekend

I wanted to let you know that your Payson cabin was better than advertised. We had 8 people in our group and there was plenty of room. We especially liked the master suite with the newly remodeled master bath and the open kitchen with the large eating area open to the family room. I was personally very thankful that your furniture was so clean and in such good condition.
The grandkids did play on your jungle gym and we also barbequed some fish on the grill but we did not have a pizza to try your brick oven. Perhaps next time we will. The boys did spend quite a bit of time fishing and the adults went for a very nice hike above the fish hatchery. It was so nice to get away from the Phoenix heat. Again, thanks for letting us stay at your getaway cabin. We did not spend much time watching your big screen t.v. or on the internet but thanks for having those extras available.
