We have a group of 8, all of us early 30's and the house was great. Close to the mountain and very cozy. The owners son stopped by the first day to make sure everything was ok. The hot tub was ready to go when we got there and the house was nice and clean. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Had a great time in Breck. The house was perfect for our large family. Everyone had their own bed and the kids loved the hot tub on the deck. It was close to everything and had some beautiful views. If you're budget minded and looking for a great place that's close to hiking, biking and sightseeing, this is perfect. The furnishings were modest, but it was perfect. We didn't want the kids to spend all day watching tv, although almost every room has a tv in it. It was only a mile to the slopes or trailheads and off the beaten path, so don't have to worry about a lot of traffic around the house. We did lots of daily hiking trips and shopping downtown. Downtown Breck was only 10 minutes away. From here you can make easy shopping trips to Frisco or Silverthorne to the north, or hike some 14er's to the south, all within 30 minutes. Great vacation spot. The hot tub guy came by every couple days to check on it. Our youngest kids considered the hot tub as their personal 'pool'. Will definitely have to do this again!

Fantastic!! The whole experience was wonderful, we just got home to Mn yesterday and I already miss the cabin. We had our children and family with us for the most wonderful time ever. We had access to fishing, hiking, close to town and space for everyone. The home was very well appointed! We were able to prepare delicious meals in the large kitchen, relax in the hot tub and enjoy the beautiful area. We were close to town for supplies but yet secluded for privacy...met the neighbors, and the local moose! All were fantastic! We will be coming back again and would recommend this home to any family looking for a great place to bond!

We were reluctant at first to rent this home in the mountains, given that we found it on the internet. Over a few conversations with the owner (Jake), I became comfortable with the idea. Nine of us travelled from Ontario to Breckenridge and to our delight the home was just immaculate. Being on Harleys we didn't excactly enjoy the mile or so of gravel but given the price and location of this fabulous mountain retreat we soon forgot about that challenge.
The place turned out to be every bit of what was published and we would highly recomment this rental to anyone. Thanks Jake, I am sure we will reschedule again some time soon.

2005, 2006, 2008 and now going again for a fourth time !! No photos or reviews can do justice to the fantastic experience of this beautiful home in a perfect location on Peak 7 - we just can't help coming back for more. Sit in the outdoor hot tub on the balcony and enjoy the fabulous views as you unwind with a pre-dinner drink - what more can I say. We've been skiing for over 20 years and I used to say I would never keep returning to the same resort with so many options in Europe/US to choose from, but with a Colorado lift ticket (covering unlimited days at Breck, Vail, Keystone, Beaver Creek and A-Basin) and a home like this to come back to every day, it's going to take a lot to convince me to go elsewhere. Just try it - you will not be disappointed. (oh - we missed 2007 due to unforeseen circumstances, just in case you're wondering).

There are lots of places to stay in Breckenridge but for the money this is one of the best. We were used to renting rooms for a week vacation and what a difference it makes to have a whole house! The kitchen is first rate, the bedrooms are comfortable and big and having a private hot tub was the greatest. One thing about the hot tub… We had a problem with it not heating up, apparently the owner’s son lives right around the corner and he came over and took care of the problem that day. Very cool. Another thing that was really nice was that we rented a car and skied Breck, Vail and Beaver Creek that week, which was something we had never done before. The town of Breckenridge is just at the bottom of the mountain and we went to the grocery store and stocked up the kitchen which helped out with the food budget. All in all there is nothing to complain about this home, I felt super comfortable there and it didn’t hurt that we had awesome weather. I can’t wait to go back.
