Clean, stylish and in an AMAZING location!

My friends and I stayed two weeks in this lovely furnished apartment and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
It was a modern luxurious stay while in Paris and only a 9 euro cab ride to the seine river and many other destinations. Our home away from home. And yes, it looks just as cool as in the picture, but better!

On Saturdays there is a flea market and live music just outside the door.

Thank you so much for our stay in your apartment. It was so lovely and accurate just like in the pictures. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and everything worked beautifully. It was nice too not to have to walk up and down stairs- being that it's on the first level. The bed was quite comfortable (and we have a Tempurpedic so we are very picky when it comes to beds) and the washer worked great! Even though it was just my husband and myself, I could easily see how the apartment could comfortably accommodate many more people. The access from the apartment to the Metro was perfection- we walked just outside the door and it was right there. We couldn't have asked for an easier access to the sights of Montmatre, post office, cafe's and ATM's. And the Boulangerie Coquelicot that was just around the corner was absolutely the best pastries I ate while in Paris. Thank you for being so kind and helpful when I called about information on taxis. Also your very detailed directions to and from the airport were fantastic. We left some Nutella for the next visitors, because everyone can use some Nutella! We adored the apartment and would completely recommend it to anyone we know going to Paris!

We stayed at this very chic apartment with our three children, aged 8, 6 and 4. The sleeping arrangements were cosy for 5, but made up for by the short walk up the hill to Monmatre and the Metro being 20 metres from the apartment. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away, but you won't want to shop there with the gorgeous boulangeries, fromageries and charcuteries even closer.

My husband and I spent a week in the this flat and had a fabulous holiday. The flat is brilliant and in a very safe and convenient location that is literally just steps from the Metro, galleries, myriad shopping and restaurant venues, and is just down the hill/street from the Sacre Coeur and other Montmartre museums, making this location phenomenal.

The property manager, JeanNoel, was very helpful and literally on call for any questions needing answers. Photos don't do the flat justice. It is an artist's studio in a secure building at street level, and has a king-sized comfortable bed with duvet; dining area; kitchen with cooktops and microwave; and separate alcove with a futon and tv/stereo area with skylights for an extra guest or child; plenty of closet space; and is equipped with washer/dryer unit.

The interior design work is stellar--original brick/stone walls that have been restored with inset lighting, giving this flat extra style and keeps the room temperature very cool, comfortable and quite romantic! The bathroom is immediately inside the flat and removed from the living area, allowing extra privacy as needed. Note, though, the bathroom / shower is typical New York / San Francisco-sized -- room for one only! (And my only suggestion for improvement was an upgrade on bed and bath linens. Apparently, earlier guests felt entitled to the owners' personal linens and other items, and so the property managers have scaled back on this provision. Too bad a few bad apples have tendency to spoil it for others, but...)

Other items that may be helpful: 1) Get familiar with the Metro immediately! We spent unnecessary extra costs on a taxi when we could have easily navigated anywhere in the city using the Metro. It is 3.40EU pp per day--a real steal when a taxi starts at 25EU. 2) Get maps of the city and plan your walking tours on Day I so your trip is organized. There are many things to see and do and some attractions are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. 3) The Eiffel Tower has extremely long lines and one of the lifts was closed. Get there EARLY if you are keen to ride to the top. 4)The Louvre is open to the public free of charge on Sundays. To avoid long lines, enter the Louvre at the Carousel Shopping Center entrance just in front of the arch where wait lines are minimized. 5) Montmartre has every restaurant imaginable and is about 10-20EU LESS than the business / Concorde districts. 6) Taxis to and from CDG are 46-50EU and worth it!

Thank you for a wonderful short holiday in Paris. The apartment was cool and comfortable even when it was 35 degreees outside. The location was perfect and we loved the local cafes and restaurants, I thought places like those had all disappeared! It was great to be able to wander out just a few hundred meters for an aperitif or dinner and find such an eclectic mix of food and flavours!

And for that perfect Parisian tourist experience we loved the restaurant and cafe Les Buttes de Montmartre where a more classic menu and more bourgeois experience can be had and all with a wonderful view down the steps and out over the roof tops of Paris.

You were right all the beds were extremely comfortable and the polished concrete floor is a great comfort to sore feet! The storage space was great too and the whole place felt spacious and was easy to use.

I just wanted to take 5 minutes to let you know how much we enjoyed the apartment. We have a young family (8 and 10) and the apartment was perfect for our stay in Paris. The proximity to the Metro (30 meters away) made it super easy for us to access anywhere in paris in 15-20 mins. It was nice at the end of our long days knowing that we had such a short walk from the station. The location within the neighbourhood is great as well. There are several great restaurants and shops within minutes from the apartment.
Place du Tertre and Sacre-Coeur are a short 10 minute walk away as well.
Highly recommended.

We rented this apartment for one week, mid-September 2010. The apartment itself is a dream, but the location is beyond comparison. We would have been perfectly content never leaving the immediate area. Most importantly (for us, anyway), the Cassans were totally accommodating and professional. Do not hesitate to rent this wonderful apartment!
