I went with a group of fellow firefighters for a few days of skiing and had a blast. We had more then enough room and the kitchen was stoked well with everything you need to cook while staying. The view is fantastic! I will rent this condo again. The best place I have stayed in the Village.

Very cozy home away from home

We enjoyed Catbird's Nest very much! Common area, kitchen and eating space is exceptionally comfortable. The views are fabulous; also very convenient! We decided to draw straws for the bedrooms. Both are comfortable, with one a bit smaller. Very nice place to stay! Thanks!

Ski Trip 2013 Snowshoe Mountain

By far the most outstanding views of snowshoe mountain down to shavers lake. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will be back in years to come. Probably the best ever place to stay with such easy access to the slopes, walk out the door 5 feet and put your skis/snow boards on and your on your way. I totally enjoyed working with the owner, Mike Frizzel on getting the best rates on the mountain, and for him honoring our military family and friends, Thanks Mike! We always make a point to eat at Cheats Pizza, they have the most excellent pizza. A stroll through the village in and out of the shops is always fun. We always enjoy after a hard day of skiing, some time in split rock pool/hot tubs and sauna. All in All, it was a magnificent stay, Thanks again. Regards, Robert Madison

The Catbird Seat is a wonderful place- far better than other units we have stayed in at Mountain Lodge. The floor plan is spacious, the view great and the fireplace is a nice touch.

We stayed at this apartment for the weekend to check out Cass. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Being the off season it was very quiet, but suited our purpose perfectly. While we were not skiing on this trip, I can see how this apartment would be an excellent location for skiing snow shoe. The owner was very responsive and everything was as promised.

Fantastic Family Condo

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the Catbird Seat! There was plenty of space for 4 adults, 1 teenager, and 2 toddlers. The unit has over 1000 sq ft, which is hard to come by at snowshoe. The lodge is very large and has an indoor kiddie playground...Perfect for the kids to run around and burn off energy on super cold/windy days. The lodge also has a comedy club and italian restaurant in the facility. The Catbird Seat has the best view of the mountain/slopes from the balcony/breakfast table...during the kids' naptime I was able to sit, relax, and watch folks take off down the blue/green slopes. The unit was very clean...a must for a mother of small kids! I highly recommend this unit to anyone taking a family trip. Once you stay at the Catbird Seat, you'll make it an annual vacation spot...we did!

Great Place....We have been sking for 30 years in the east and in the west, this is one of the nicest condos we have stayed in. The location is right at the top of the slopes, 20ft out the door and your there. Very nicely furnished, amazing view. We will always check the availability here first when planning a Snowshoe trip.

We planned this vacation as one of the last BIG vacations the family was going to take together. We chose the week after Christmas and the Catbird Seat. It was an excellent choice! The parents, teenagers and grandkids and Pap fit quite well. Everything was perfect, we had no wants or needs, everything was right there. The decor was pretty, appliances were modern and the staff at the Mountain Lodge was very friendly and accomodating. The Frizells are very nice people and easy to work with. If we ever need a place to stay for the whole family we will be back!
