Ile St.Louis Apartment

This is a great little apartment in the center of Paris, so convenient, so very quiet. The pull out couch's comfort surprised me - large and we rested there well. Having a kitchen saved us a little dining-out money and the washer/dryer allowed us to pack very small luggage (no checking, fits under the seat in front of us!). Having free internet access allowed to share photos and videos on the spot with our friends back home. This is our first vacation apartment stay anywhere and will definitely change the way we travel internationally.

We had a wonderful visit to Paris, largely because of this excellent apartment. It is ideally situated in the middle of Ile St. Louis, just a 5 minute walk to the Metro or Notre Dame. The apartment is well furnished with a surprisingly large amount of storage and everything for cooking. The bathroom is huge, with lots of hot water, and the pullout bed is spacious and very comfortable. Free internet access through the provided laptop was icing on the cake. We look forward to our next visit to Paris and will be sure to rent this apartment again.

We had a fabulous stay in Paris and will certainly return again. We absolutely loved the apartment and Nicolas Billard was fantastic. The apartment has a great bathroom with a nice American style shower. The bed was easy to use and comfortable. The internet was also great. Around the corner, there is a little store where you can get basic supplies which is great. The apartment has a great location near the Pont Marie Metro Station which makes Paris easy to get around. During our stay, a movie was being filmed (It was fun to watch) in the building but Nicolas went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect. I recommend this as a place to stay to anyone visiting Paris. I feel we are lucky to have found this place.

Great location. Wonderful shower & bed. Very nice kitchen. The apartment is small but who spends anytime inside when all Paris is just outside your door. Having a washer-dryer makes it especially nice for a longer stay or as part of an extended trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Paris-Heart in March 2009.
Location: Perfect. The restaurants on Illes Saint Louis are definitely a best kept secret. We literally walked to everything except Versaille and Montmarte which were very easy metro rides just accross the bridge. The best part of our trip really was the cozy "back home" feel of coming back to Illes Saint Louis.
Apartment: Very clean. The bed was super comfortable. The shower was large with lots of hot water. We had no problems with storing our luggage and clothes - very efficient use of space in this apartment. Free phone calls back home to USA was definitely an added plus. Internet provided is super fast and consistent.
Owners: Nicolas was wonderful to work with. From initial contact through check out, communication was quick and accessable. Nicolas replied to all e-mails within a day and when we needed to call him while in Paris, he answered right away.
Overall: A wonderful experience. We will recommend Paris-Heart to friends and would not hesitate to stay again. We absolutely loved our time in Paris and a big part of it was the Paris-Heart apartment, and Nicolas's hospitality and attention to detail. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fantastique ! The studio although quite small (don't
bring too much luggage!) is well designed and
tastefully decorated. The bed - a true king size
when open - is amazingly comfortable. I was
concerned when I saw that it was a "convertible"
bed but you have nothing to worry about here. The
owner is a gracious truly caring host. And the
location? As far as I'm concerned Ile St Louis is the
best place to stay when in Paris. You are literally in
the middle of Paris with the Left and Right bank
easy walking distance on either side and yet
returning home at the end of the day to the "island"
you feel like you are returning to a quiet secluded
private sanctuary - away from the bustle of the rest
of the city. We'll return again !

We just returned from an eight night stay at this apartment. We couldn't have been happier. The fold-out couch for a bed was very comfortable. We had a computer with free internet and also a phone with unlimited free calls to the US. The bath was new and large and there is a small laundry. The location was great and every evening we felt like we were returning home when we crossed the bridge. We loved all the neighborhood shops, but also the quiet at night. We could open the window and hear the bells from Notre Dame in the morning. Nicolas was very helpful and we hope to meet him in person someday
