**BACKDROP FOR A PERFECT NANTUCKET VACATION**

Where to begin.....we got very lucky and managed to book a week at this cottage due to a cancellation. Otherwise the cottage is always rented for the entire summer! It was our first visit to Nantucket...we have always vacationed in Chatham, and were looking for something a little different.This house was perfect for our family of two adults and four children ages 7-14. The location was perfect , close to everything! Monomoy beach is just a short walk to the beach access, although we often hopped in the car for a quick drive to Surfside where the kids rode huge waves for hours each day! We ran every morning on the bike path just across the street, had coffee on the peaceful back deck while the kids played in the yard. The cottage is in a small U shaped cul de sac off the main road, so we never had to worry about traffic or the kids being safe, and there was plenty of room to spread out. The furnishings in the home were great, comfortable beds, seating at dining table, plenty of outdoor seating. Two full baths enabled us to get everyone showered and ready to go easily. The laundry in the master bath was such a nice and convenient bonus! When we arrived at the house it was clean, and loaded with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The owner even supplies basic cleaning products and paper products, which was convenient, and replenished before we left. I could have cooked all of our meals right there with a fully stocked kitchen and a two minute drive to Stop and Shop ( pharmacy, Downylake (yum).....BUT there are too many great places to see and eat that we didn't have time to cook! We did pick up a birthday cake at nantucket bakery that was awesome and celebrated one of the kids birthdays! There were beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards...although we did buy 4 and leave them at the cottage ~ Andrew the owner of the house was such a pleasure to work with, offered many suggestions and ideas to make our trip wonderful. It is the kind of place you walk into and feel right at home. As we told Andrew, the hardest part of our entire summer........was LEAVING!! Can't wait to return......oh , and one week is not nearly long enough!!!

Perfect Getaway

This was our first trip to Nantucket and while we were not familiar with the lay of the land so to speak, we could not have found a more conveniently located rental on the island. You are just a quick trip to the Stop n Shop, local restaurants and private secluded beaches.
The house is perfectly appointed- very well maintained and sweetly decorated, and for us especially, well stocked with everything we could need for traveling with a toddler: a pack and play, booster seat, and even some toys and books are available for renter use. We made the mistake of packing our own toys, and of course, they were never used! Add on the washer and dryer, this was one of the most relaxing trips we have had as a family.
Since we were traveling with a small child, we took advantage of the fully stocked kitchen every evening, including of course, the dishwasher! On the couple of evenings we chose not to cook, we perused the menus left by the owners and ordered terrific take-out pizza from the local pizzeria- right down the street- Pi Pizza. Very good!
We were able to take advantage of the amenities offered by the rental as well: the great deck and grill, the electronics (we rented some DVDs from the Redbox at the Stop N Shop), and of course the prime location.
Thank you to Andrew for such a great experience! We really enjoyed working with you- our communications were quick and friendly, and any questions were promptly answered if not already addressed. It is no wonder your rental is in demand!

Perfect Nantucket Rental!

I stayed at the cottage earlier this year with my wife, daughter, and two friends. let me start by saying we had a great time! The owner was easy to work with and very responsive.
The cottage was clean, cozy, and kid-friendly. The owners left a lot of toys that my daughter could play with. The cottage is in a great location - it's close to the town center. With a bike, you could get anywhere in town within minutes. Also, the porch is quite nice and the backyard has a fire pit which was fun to use during the evenings.
We will def. stay here again on our next trip back to nantucket!

We are having a blast! The only thing you really need are a few cutting boards - I looked everywhere and couldn't find one. The beds are really comfy and I love the layout of the house. We got tandem bikes and have been using the NRTA shuttle, which has been great. Another glorious stay!

This cottage is even more charming than it's on-line photos and as we walked through the door it felt like home. It is very nicely furnished, comfortable, well supplied and very clean. Our days were spent biking out to all points of the island or exploring the village on foot and we found the cottage perfectly situated. And while we did not have a car we had no trouble shopping for groceries or enjoying nearby restaurants. The owner was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, and made more than the necessary effort to make sure we enjoyed our stay both at his home and on the island.

This is a very quaint & charming cottage, well appointed, and very comfortable. After 20 years of experience renting various vacation homes, we can definitely say this is an ideal rental property... from the cleanliness, to the decorating, and the amenities, right down to the linens. The owners haven't overlooked a thing! It is centrally located near town, near beaches and is just across the road from the bike path. This cottage definitely contributed to our wonderful Nantucket vacation!

This home was everything we were looking for in Nantucket. Very clean, equipped with everything we needed. Can't wait to come again! We spent eating every meal on the deck. Plenty of games/toys for the kids, convenient location. Owner was always available.

WONDERFUL NANTUCKET COTTAGE

Very clean, organized and well decorated Nantucket cottage. Owner always promptly replied to my questions/concerns and was generally very helpful and thoughtful. This well stocked house was perfect for our family of 4. Bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the house, each with their own newly redone bathrooms. Being centrally located near the rotary meant it was very easy to get almost anywhere on the island. Found it helpful to be a very quick drive to the grocery, liquor, pharmacy and post office. We enjoyed nearby Pi Pizzeria - awesome pizza. Great biking and running paths nearby. Young's Bike Shop delivered bikes right to the house. Spent a few nights enjoying the wonderful deck, grill, and fire pit. I would absolutely recommend this property to others!

The convenience of short walk to town and the amenities of mid island bring all of the necessities for a great family vacation together in one centrally located spot!

Great Vacation House

The cottage was cozy, well-decorated, clean, comfortable, well-located (pretty close to downtown and supermarket), etc. and was equipped with modern bathrooms, utensils, appliances, grill, etc. The owners are very organized, were very attentive to questions that I had prior to the trip, and were service oriented overall. I had no reason to speak with them during my trip because I didn't run into any problems. I would not hesitate in renting this cottage again next year.
