Nice, clean, welcoming and well located house.
It's actually bigger than we expected from the photos on the website, and the hosts were very kind.

I went in july 2011 with my family (2 adults + 2 kids) and it was perfect!

The house is charming and everything we need was there.

Sandwich village is quiet and perfect for people who want to enjoy a good night after a long day at the beach.

The garden and outside shower was a must with our young kids.

Lovely Place in the Village

I stayed here on my own the last time I was in Sandwich and then my husband joined me for a night. It was perfect, quiet, clean and beautifully decorated, within walking distance of the village with cafes and shops. I also felt safe there on my own, with the owners in the other half of the building, and I could relax in the kitchen, looking into the garden, or read in the living room. I really loved it and hope to stay there again.
I don't think this is the best place for lively small children on vacation or for anyone who has problems with stairs, since the bedrooms are upstairs and there is a step down into the large bathroom. I would take kids to a beach house where they could run in and out all day. But this is a great place to stay in if you love to leave your car and walk or bike to shops and attractions. We biked to the Canal Path. You could also drive to the bike path that begins in North Falmouth and bike to Woods Hole.
The house is in the Sandwich Historical District, one street over from Jarves Street. If you want to feel like an old Cape Codder, you will love this. The house was built in the 1800's but has been beautifully restored.
The owners are very nice and helpful.
