I just wanted to drop an line to thank you for allowing us to rent the beach house for our vacation. It was the best family vacation that we have taken. The whole family is already planning our beach vacation again in 2014...

Over the past 17 years, our family has rented several beach houses at different beaches including Sandbridge, VA, Emerald Isle/Atlantic Beach, NC, and Clearwater FL. The kids rated this "the best house yet" We had plenty of room, the short walk to the beach was stress free.he beach was beautiful and not crowded. The pool area was very private. The kitchen was stocked with about everything one would need to fix huge meals. Our favorite was the waffle maker! It made great waffles. Everyone enjoyed the lighthouse view. Sherrie was great. She promptly responded to our calls and ordered immediate fixes. The Corrola area was quiet, peaceful and beautiful. A great place for families. It's a great place to just "get a way from it all." We would not hesitate to rent this house again. In fact, the kids were talking about going back next year before we even checked out! Thanks Sherrie for a great vacation.

I just wanted to say that you went above and beyond for my husband and me and we really appreciate all that you did for us. We hope to make it back again some day in the future to possibly celebrate an anniversary.

Hi Sherrie! Just wanted to let you know that Blackbeard's Treasure, which we rented May 19-26, was amazing! What a beautiful house, and thank you for opening the pool for us.

We had such a wonderful time and we loved your home! It was perfect! Thank you again for letting us stay there for a week with all of our loved ones. It really was just magical!

This was one of our favorite vacations! We all had a great time, the house is beautiful and very clean, it had everything we needed, AND we got to see the horses! We were able to bring our dog which was very important to us. If I could suggest one thing it would be to find a way to make time stop while one was there - we never wanted to leave!! Thank you for a wonderful week.

We just returned from our family vacation where we stayed in your beautiful home. This was our first time to do an all family vacation. There were 17 of us in all ranging in ages from 2 to 87. Your home was set up perfectly for a large group. We each had our own bedroom and we were thrilled by the # of bathrooms. This made getting up and getting ready so much easier when there wasn't a line waiting to use the restroom. We loved riding the bikes to the beach or across the way to the lighthouse. The back patios/decks were wonderful for sitting and talking or playing games of an evening. We had many a volleyball tournament and unfortunately the boys trumped the girls way too many times. You had every convenience imagianable and ones that we had not even thought about needing. This place is in the prime area, on the quieter side of the island but a short drive to any establishment you may want to visit. We went parasailing in Manteo and did Ricks Wild Horse Adventure Tour. Both activities were wonderful and were enjoyed by all. Even my nephew who prior to the horse tour stated he hates horses loved every minute of the tour. The beach down from the house was beautiful and we asked for permission for the local authorities and were told we could have a bon fire on the beach. All that was needed was a fire pit and a permit and we were good to go. The kids and adults alike loves sitting on the beach with the fire, roasting hot dogs and s'mores and listening to the beautiful sounds of the ocean. If you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle I highly recommend driving on the beach. This was an amazing experience and we went down there a couple of times. I have to say that the people in Outer Banks are the friendliest i have ever come across. Extremely helpful and so kind! We are already talking about our next trip and hope to be able to once again come to the OBX and stay in your lovely home. You were a joy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable and our vacation was the best ever. Thank you so much for opening your home to us, we made the most amazing memories.
