Relaxing week away

This lovely retreat has all of the conveniences a vacationer could wish for in a quiet peaceful "getaway" and bucolic setting. Take a real country walk, taste the quiet, smell the clear air, and feel the warmth of a burning fire - it's all so delicious!

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary here in April, 2009. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. It was more than what we expected or could have hoped for. The house was very well equipped. The grounds were very private and beautiful. We hiked and mountain climbed in the White Mountains. There were countless trails and the scenery everywhere was spectacular. The nearby towns had nice shops and restaurants. Many attractions do not open until May, but we mainly went for the hiking so that didn't matter as much to us. We would definitely stay here again and I would highly recommend it to others. The rental process was easy and all of my questions were answered promptly. Beth was very friendly and helpful.

What a beautiful home in a great area! We had a fabulous time. The house is light and airy, very clean, and has everything you could possibly want for cooking or just relaxing. We can't wait to go back.

We had the best time, your home is beautiful, we had every modern convenience possible available to us. The kitchen is outstanding and the layout perfect. The rental process was so smooth and extremely quick. If you want to get away and relax this is the perfect place. We would definitely rent your home again. Our little dog “Bella” really enjoyed her vacation too.

My family was very pleased to walk into this beautiful home knowing that it was ours to enjoy for a short time. It was very neat and clean. The owners seemed to have thought of and prepared for everything.

We had just a short drive to snowshoe to the Basin and Flume. It seemed like every corner on the way to Lisbon opened the door to a different magical view of the White Mountains.

After playing games around the warmth of the wood stove for the evening, we stayed up until 1:30 am playing pool.

We had a lovely week at this home - even with record low temperatures for the year. It was very pleasant to stay so warm by the cozy wood stove when the temperatures outside were below zero. We are an outdoor family and went for 3 snowshoe hikes. We highly recommend the Flume loop in Franconia Notch.

If you are looking for a great getaway in the White Mountains, you will find it in this home. We are a family of 5 (kids aged 15, 13, 11) and we were all happy during our stay. The home was extremely clean and well-maintained. The owner of this property was incredibly helpful and the process of renting couldn't have gone any smoother. I would recommend this home to family & friends.

My wife and I thought this vacation home is even better in person than the pictures show. The location is peaceful and quiet, the accommodations are modern and comfortable. The owners have thought of everything. We found it very relaxing and it was nice to be away from it all.
